When you sort the scanner window on distance... somewhere in the middle after scrolling 10 seconds you may find what is actually closest to you ... after all the "-" (= no distance measured) items.

example
Ship1 Hyperion -
X Ship Maintenance Array -
B Corporate Hangar Array 1.236 m
B Ship Maintenance Array 1.717 m

Proposal:
Always put the "dashed" distance items at the bottom please :-)

+1, its the only reason I do not use D-Scan

CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.

And every time you're in a fleet and trying to scan for combat probes, you'll have to scroll for 10 seconds to get past your fleetmates.

In what situation you'd rather waste 10 sec scrolling?

Try clicking 'sort' a second time? The '-' will go to the bottom. Also: why would you want on dscan the exact same information you already have on your overview?

EDIT: you know what would be really useful? automatic grouping of all '-' entries.

So:

Caracal
Caracal
Caracal
Caracal
Caracal

Becomes:

Caracal (5)
