Why is it when there is a problem and I have had items lost from the last patch and I send in a petition, even though I have sent 2 more reminders im still being ignored.

How long does it take for CCP to actually reply ?

Has anyone else had BPO go missing from the patch

  • Discussing petitions will get your thread locked, EDIT: Nothing really ironic about it.

  • The proper method of expressing complaints with the petition system would be to create a new petition.

  • This is not the proper place for petition discussion.

  • This is GENERAL discussion, which defies the dictionary definition of GENERAL:
  • not limited to one class, field, product, service, etc.; miscellaneous:

  • This GENERAL discussion forum is limited to only certain class of posts, limited to fields not covered by other topic headers, and limited to the EVE Online service exclusively.

  • A proper title for this forum header would be the "Catch All" forum wherein any post not meeting a earlier criteria should fall this category.

Back to your topic, this topic will likely be locked and you will be asked to create a petition to express your concerns about the petition system.

Now with 100% less Troll.

Depends on what category the petition is under. Stuck ones usually get dealt with in hours, others can take far longer.
Have known someone to wait a month for a reply when it was to do with bpo's and pos's in the past.

Also in before the thread lock for discussing petitions. (you'll be told to use the support system - a petition).

A petition can take somewhere between 4 minutes and 4 weeks, depending on the category and the queues. If you filed it in the wrong category, you have to wait in the queue twice.

As it's a reimbursement petition, let me answer it for you: The logs show nothing.

At FanFest they clarified, the logs show LOTS AND LOTS OF THINGS, but nothing relevant to your issue.

One of CCP's initiatives from FanFest was to improve the logging system.

Most petitioning systems, move you back to the end of the queue if you update/change your question. So your 2 "reminders" have just cost you a lot of time.

I was asking as I don't know the response time as im thinking 2 weeks is a very long, some people can afford to take a loss with missing items but I cant

As usual they don't tank their logging ships.

If you are missing items there is a high probability they are gone for good. The reason for his is CCP has to troubleshoot from an omnisicent perspective.

Lets say you lost your Medium Shield Extender I, but it was scooped by another pilot, CCP can't reimburse that item.

However lets say you had just scooped a ballistic control system I from a wreck during a fleet fight. The logs will clearly show that the item survived the destruction of the ship, but will not be able to determine if you looted that item, or if instead the wreck was shot. CCP can't reimburse that item.

However, lets say you fitted a Target Painter I to your ship, and UNDOCKED, this passes through a check to validate your PG/CPU requirements in this case the item will be logged.

If you are in a system without access to a fleet hangar, and you are destroyed by a bug, CCP can reliably reimburse your item.

However if you are living out of a POS it is impossible for CCP to verify that the Target Painter I in the Fleet Hangar actually belongs to you.

In the world of Payroll, we call this auditing, and it exponentially increases the processing requirements, CCP would need to vastly increase their processing power to track every item, not a great utilization of time or resources.

At the end of the day: LOGS SHOW NOTHING, is the better of two evils.

Now with 100% less Troll.

I had a BPO doing coping from a station when the patch came in to force, when it was delivered it was no where to be found, its not so much the BPO but the amount of isk and the time it would take to max research another one, im talking 130 days just for ME
