ECM Griffin perma-jams Raven

You know ECM is overpowered when a single frigate can remove a battleship entirely from a fight, for the whole fight.

Fight lasted about 5 minutes. Well, I sat there and got pounded on for 5 minutes unable to lock anyone or anything around me, including a vexor I had into structure before the jam-fest began.

Luckily, I was rescued by a corp mate.

I personally don't understand why this mechanic exists to begin with.

What do you people think about ECM in it's current state?

I think it is woefully underpowered compared to other ECM.

So lets see, you were jammed for the entire fight, but somehow got my Vexor into structure (I was half armor from a previous fight that had just ended when you landed)? Strange.

Then you warped in two Blackbirds to save the Raven, then complain about ECM.

Gotta love ECM whining. Its a fact of life, accept it, bring projected ECCM or train those comp skills and fit some local ECCM and pray to RNGeezus.

Another EWAR is OP thread... Same boring content but I don't think we've had one in a while. I guess it's better than another thread crying about AFK cloaking.

To the OP please try not to solo frigates of any kind in a Raven. Bigger is not better in Eve. Also train the sensor compensation skill.

Came looking for PVP discussion found leet HS slap fight.... sigh

I recommend you put a mwd on your raven and a pair of smartbombs. It will solve the issue.

You seem to complain so much bud, every forum topic is a fueled by such barely contained rage. Try to relax and take an ambien . As for ECM, I dont believe you, at all. There is no feasible way a griffin permajammed you for 5 minutes unless he knew what you were flying and brought only caldari racials. And you you know what? If he did then you have no reason to whine.

He could have damped you with no rng and laughed, or if you used a turret ship brought out a crucifier and ruined your day. Next time don't become suspect, or maybe deploy your drones with a frigate lands on field (they will auto aggress). That is all, you are excused

Lol. They need to have a target to work, but your ship doesn't need to have targeting enabled to use them.
