Considering what their comment section was like beforehand, I would say that is a net positive. They have mostly just banned obvious trolls and jackasses.

As for the second, every time he says anything, people cry about it in huge numbers. As someone who subsists largely off of tears, I also approve, even if I do not agree with much of what he says.

And lastly, in before lock, for whatever reason. I suspect derailment instantly.

If only these forums were as quick to ban idiotic posters posting dumb things, not unlike this very OP...

I wish I can but I don't have my own legion of internet nerds who will follow me to burn all of CFC and/or VFK. Seriously that's all I see with all the grr goons crowd. As much as I stay away from nullsec in general it's ncie to read about them from time to time.

But the change in the last few months has to do with the lack of large scale action happening in Null atm.
Once things heat up once again you will see more of the older style pieces back up there

Oh, and they need to vet their submissions column a bit better. Those last few have been atrocious.

The Mittani has pretty much lost his mind. It seems he might suffer from some kind of bipolar disorder? This is no more evidenced by watching how he assigns respect to certain people. He uses the most arbitrary and immature of factors to determine if someone is deserved of the utmost respect or complete disrespect. Example: His response to Marlona Sky

I do like his rant articles, but the overall quality of the site is definitely going down. You cannot express any opinion that puts him or his alliance in a bad light, thus it's become a propaganda site more than an actual news site.
I was actually banned myself about a month ago. A commenter used the word "gay" in a derogatory manner, at which point a moderator responded and asked him to please not use the word "gay" in a deragatory manner. The moderator was part of Goonswarm and the site itself is run by GSF's leaders, so I responded by saying, "You should clean up your own wiki first" followed by a few links to blatantly homophobic articles on their wiki. I was banned instantly.

None of this should be all that surprising. The Mittani decided, while sober, to create a powerpoint presentation for the sole purpose of humiliating a miner. He had days of sobriety to consider that decision, but he still decided to put it on a flash drive, fly a few thousand KM with it, and load it up into a computer to present. The vast, vast majority of this was done while completely sober and aware of his actions. Not surprising to see what happens on his website then.

Eh, he's a better man than I am. At least he apologized. I'd have just given you all a two finger salute while moonwalking out to serve out my ban.

I can't support this enough. Damn it's been bad recently but at least they had the decency of killing the one about UK powergrid being the limiting factor and giving excuse for messing up that bad.
