IMPROVING EVE FOR NEW SUBSCRIBERS

Hi,

I think this game really sucks for new subscribers frankly. It takes way to long to get up to speed skill wise (we are talking months). The purpose of this thread is to explore ideas to eliminate this problem.

My ideas:

IDEA 1 - LEARNING SPEED SUPER BOOST

New subscribers get 5x learning speed for 6 weeks post initial subscription

IDEA 2 - REDUCE PREREQUISITES

Reduce how long it takes for a new subscriber to fly tech 2 fit ships

IDEA 3 - REDUCE SKILL ADVANTAGES

Roll some of it back into the base stats of in game items, thus increasing how relevant piloting skill is rather than SP

IDEA 4 - TOTAL ELIMINATION OF SKILLS

Just an insane idea, imagine that? Too extreme for me though.

IDEA 5 - INTRODUCE NEW RACE

Old players may start new accounts and thus lower average SP per pilot

Reported for trolling.

Well then the game ain't going to suit them. Too bad...

They already reduced the training time of a lot of things dramatically... For example before it took me 65 days to train to use t2 pulse lasers, now it takes a new player aproxx 29 days.

Not empty quoting.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.
