Received an illegal response from billing server.

I am trying to add a PLEX but am getting the following:

Posting in GD is of course the best way to make CCP aware of the issue and always has been. A petition takes weeks to be read by which time you would hope any issue would have been fixed.

No. You only covered a pitiful excuse for being too lazy to go through the proper channel and stand a chance of having the issue resolved.

File a petition. If you're feeling particularly saucy, you could probably file a website bug report as well.

I would have thought it was obvious from the error message that the issue is server side. Thus it is likely to be effecting everyone who tries to activate a PLEX.

Certainly the amount of players complaining on GD will reach critical mass long before a petition would be read.

If the billing issue is transient then none of it matters anyway.

Either way, I win.

What kind of illegal response did you get?

Did it threaten you with bodily harm?
Did it say it would send your wife those pictures of you with the secretary if you didn't give it money?
Did it make you sing a song over teamspeak? (I guess this one is not illegal.. but its pitchfork/torch worthy)

You were kind of vague on the illegal response part, so yeah.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Making a thread in GD can only have positive outcomes.

Anyway it was a transient issue and was either fixed by someone, or fixed itself.

Erm, not being able to activate a Plex is a bit of a problem. Given the issues today it does no harm to post it here in case the petition system is backed up and other people are having the same problem. Let a mod or a dev lock it if it's redundant. It's not the worst topic to post.

Personally Obunagawe I petition stuff like that under 'stuck' if I can't see any other reports on the forums (just to alert the GMs). But it might be an abuse of the feature, so other than posting a topic here there isn't always a way to quickly highlight problems. Other than posting on twitter maybe, if you can work out who to poke.
