Tranquility in VIP Mode - Login & Connection Issues - 12/08/2014

im in uk and my i have same issue with my internet, cant acces even the websites.

Tranquility will be rebooted and placed in VIP mode at 12:20 while troubleshooting occurs. This is a third party networking issue, and we're working with our partners to resolve it.

Tranquility will be placed in VIP mode while this issue is troubleshooted and resolved to keep the playing field level and prevent any unfair advantage for those who can connect.

Well watching this event in its global aspect, it seems that the issue is not only impacting CCP. So let's get back on our feet and just let the experts doing their job.

I am from south africa and can't log in :- ( have you tried reseting your routers yet there at ccp ?

Well logged in for maybe 1 min 30 seconds and then BAM Socket Closed and again no way to log in, same message "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

This is about to make me put my fist through this screen.

Had the same issues all of you fine folk have been having. Closed the launcher and restarted it. I am now one of 692 players in New Eden. Weird.

You do realise once this gets resolved, the moment you go to sleep and wake up the next day, you're going to find yourself put through a wormhole and end up in some god forsaken system 110,000 jumps away from ANYTHING, wearing just a speedo and a tank top, with a can of cat food to tide you over. and little paw prints all over your keyboard. :3
