One of the main goals of the MegaSite Project, which I'm not sure has been publicly discussed, is to bring new subscriptions ( New Players) to EVE Online, to assist in making sure the EVE Experience is an Amazing Success and drive interest or re-spark major interest from old players.

We have set goal markers for this such as 1000, 5000, 10000 new Players and we would love to display this dynamically. But even though we can create a link to track when it is clicked and then it would then send them to the EVE Online Page to create a trail account there is no way for us to track if they there after created a subscription.

We could use the link out of one of Our Accounts ( and of course give the rewards back to the community when someone signs up to EVE Online) but that is not want we are needing as we can not dynamically access that information.

Would it be possible to create an API call (or what ever is better) for EVE Online Referrals? Even if it just gives a count of how many people created a trail account and how many people converted to a Subscription. We would not need to have the names in the function.


@ Update on the MegaSite Project

Based on the many emails,We know many people are excited and want the release to happen NOW and not later but this project is like that car your dad and you have been remodeling/restoring, tuning and polishing...you want it to be as perfect as it can be before you even think about rolling it out of the garage. On the other side, we also have to realize and understand even though this is an amazing project people won't be excited forever.

It terms of the Launch of the MegaSite we rolled the project back to an Alpha status for changes and major edits. Within the next two months we will bring it back to Beta and we will actively invite anyone who wants to test it over the course of Beta status not to include the 440 that are already using and testing the project. However, the official launch date of the MegaSite is set to be 12/13/2014.

We want this project to impact the History of EVE Online positively in anyway that it can. The MegaSite which is only the Code Name of the Project and not the actual name will be available over your Browser, and on the mobile markets, Google Play and the App Store.

The bottom line is that this is a Video game that we are playing which has a wonderful community. Gaming communities did not exist for a long time and the gaming industry is still finding new ways to establish and strengthen these connections. This project is an attempt to help establish a lasting connection to the game itself while driving new interest to existing players and bring in new members to the wonderful world of EVE Online.
