I've been suggesting this since 2003, would make life so so very much easier. I want a bookmarks tab on my overview. I want either this or the ability to use the dock/warp/align keyboard shortcuts on the bookmarks click->d

To be fairly honest, not really a feature I would need really, but I'm not against it either (and a lot of folk seem quite apt to have it done, so might as well). As long as in doing so, it shows up as a toggle in overview settings or something of the like and doesn't end up borking the overview in the process. Bookmarks on overview isn't needed for me, but I rather say I like the overview itself as it's rather super to have in un-borked form.

So, in short, with conditions, +1

I agree with you. Aslong as CCP does it correctly and does not screw up the existing overview I believe it would be a good thing. We need more signatures so if you agree please post.

CCP needs Ritalin; they have worse attention spans than a whole bus full of ADD kids.

EDIT: CCP, you're still my favorite developer.. but seriously. We need to have a serious talk about this "never finishing anything" problem that you have.

You know what? I said earlier that this was not a feature that would be of use to me, but it'd be so helpful for many others. Right now, I use a different method of bookmark use by opening the individual places folders I use the most and have them pinned together next to my overview and this can help remove some screen clutter.

It's not really a problem for me per say since I run Eve on two monitors running at 1920x1080, giving me plenty of space to have most of my UI elements and windows on one and still have the other with a virtually unobstructed view of my ship and immediate surroundings. But, it would be especially helpful for people using that method on one screen, for instance. It should at least be considered. I've considered it and I feel like it would be a pretty good addition to the overview, if only to clean up the screen use a bit. Just my take on it.

I still think the overall functionality (and not breaking) of the overview is top priority, but it's still worth a try. I stand by this and say "let's go for it."

and/or hotkey a bookmark action or two. Most likely would be warp to your favorite safe spot, one per system.
