THE SOLUTION TO DRONE HORDES

Loot and Salvage Drones. Just like mining drones, but they attack wrecks instead of roids. This has to be the easiest to implement solution. You dont need to change the drone region, the loot table, bounties, anything. Just modify mining drones to loot and salvage. Problem solved.

I live in drone region. The whole hordes aren't worth as much as sanctums and havens is not accurate. I get about 31 mil in compounds and alloys and another 5 or so in salvage. The problem lays in the time it takes to salvage everything. It takes me about 40 minutes to salvage five hordes. I do 5 in about an 1hr and 20 minutes. that's almost three more sanctums i could be doing, so I'm loosing out on an additional 80 mil or so if you extrapolate the minutes.

Thats what it would solve, and there is an age old adage for when things don't work. TRY HARDER. just have to get ccp to try harder, it works every time.

Sorry if im not as smart .. but i use a such called "Noctis" .
I never had any problems with salvag them ... salvage tech 2 (this high slot thing -.- )... salvage rigs ... salvage skills ....
IF there qould be drones for salvage why should i use a noctis anymore ?
8 Tractor beams and aggresive "salvage" drones ? .... i gues that s a little bit too boring ...

As i said i never had a problem with the salvage time of anny wreck (1-2 cyrcles most of the time)

I make about 120 an hour, but then i have to spend 40-45 minutes picking it up. If you extrapolate that out, its about 72 an hour. For what i have invested in my setup, yes it is broken. And that 40 minutes is with a noctis. The Noctis is great if your a newb, but i lose money because it isnt fast enough. If i had 15 salvage drones from my thanny, it would go faster then tractoring four and then salvaging four.

its weird how i support the idea of salvage drones, but the way you are trying to sell the idea, turns me off to it. because the noctis point is right, salvage drones would decrease the need for the ship. and i didnt know that they tried it before, and that the server didnt like.

but overall I support salvage drones.

but not loot drones, that should be left to a tractor beam.

Id like to see the point of some one else who lives in drone region, all these high-sec or bounty space dwellers, that dont depend on looting every wreck, really dont know what its like to have an hour of ratting followed by almost an hour of salvaging. Its gets very very tedious

Personally I know that some people rat in these t2 battleships that are specifically designed to loot and salvage while fighting...

Either that or they pair a ratting ship with a noctis alt and go to town, no isk/second loss there...

Truth is that there are many ingame solutions to your problem, but you either don't want to do them or you are to lazy to implement them.

Now on to the salvage drones +1
