How to get permission to use in game stats for program?

Dear CCP (And users who may already know the answer),

I'm currently taking a C Programming class, and or a project have an idea to design a caluclator to figure out manufacturing needs for various ships.

I would like to include into inside the program the base levels on BPOs mineral needs so that I can have the program calculate out how much and of what I need to mine.


Who would I need to contact in order to get permission to do this. Note I'm not looking to make any money or anything, But I don't want to risk getting into trouble for copyright reasons if I manage to get it right and let some corpies use it.

Also, check out the Eve Technology Lab portion of the forums. You'll probably find people posting there that can point you in the right direction on a lot of your questions.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Pretty much what was said already. Grab the static data export and have at it.

You may also want to consider getting the SDE converstions from Fuzzysteve. You can find a post about those in the Technology Lab forum.

When you are done please do come back and share though! Would love to see what you put together.
