Not interested in the slightest, just like Crius - another 'patch' with no notable or important gameplay changes that affect me or my playstyle in the slightest.

It's been years since I've read through an expansion and thought to myself "Wow that looks really cool, I'm looking forward to trying THAT out!"

I read the patches of late and all I see are 'fixes', wheres the CONTENT.

Yup, really excited about Hyperion....
Almost as much as most wormhole players....

One day, maybe, before the PCU and sub rate drops below some critical mass, CCP will get the picture of what the MAJORITY of its subscription base wants. But, after listening to the new EP profess her endying love for null sec on Xing Zebras podcast, the odds are against it.

Oh, great and self appointed speaker for the supposed majority, please enlighten us as to what this might be.

Wow, 2 minutes..you must have me on some kind of posting watchlist.
I appreciate your fandom, but you back off a bit. It is kind of creepy.

While I can understand your desire to flatter yourself, since as a carebear you are fundamentally unable to posses any real self esteem, I asked you a question.

Since you talk so very much, talk a bit more.

Tell us precisely what you want to claim "the MAJORITY" wants out of EVE Online. I would just love to hear it.

Simply put, whatever you believe in, and think will work as a lasting game mechanic, if CCP did the opposite, the sub rate would rise.

Generalities mean nothing. Less than nothing in fact, since if you actually have no real ideas to put forth, then you're either just trolling, or chronically bellyaching.

Put up or shut up time, carebear. Care to take another crack at it?

I didn't think you actually had anything worth saying. Thanks for confirming that.

Makes sense, though, given what I know of you. If you actually put forth a concrete position for the record instead of just anklebiting, then you give people the opportunity to disprove it.

You can't be humiliated if you don't try, so I don't blame for not trying.

There are countless players only periodically logging in to update their skill queues until their prepaid subscriptions lapse. CCP's day of reckoning for squandering EVE will soon be at-hand.

Nothing lasts forever, EVE has had an exceptionally good run all things considered. The release of Elite Dangerous will be interesting in terms of how good it actually is and whether it eats into EVEs playerbase. That coupled with CCP s promised change to null sec before the end of the year may be a deciding factor on whether some people stay or go.

He never has anything worth saying. Unfounded statments about his fabled (and entirely imaginary) 'null sec cartel' is all we ever get.

He's either suffering from paranoid delusion or is simply the greatest troll to ever grace these esteemed boards. Lately I tend towards the latter.

And i guess that majority elected you to speak for them, right?

I often wonder why you display so much fear at the prospect of speaking for yourself. Could it be that if you did so you'd have to realize that almost no one agrees with what you want, and that realization would be painful? Could it bring back memories of your failed attempts to get 10 living souls together on SiSi to test something while "that failed lawyer" you keep ranting about has thousands of real human beings who will respond to his calls for action?

Sometimes I don't know whether to dislike you, or just feel really, really sorry for you.

No, it won't. Say it with me now; 'jet fighters in space games do not = EVE'. No game that allows people to decide who they play with (whether it's Elite's proposed "small trusted groups only" mechanic or Star Citizens "private servers") will ever be any competition for EVE. No game with instancing and artificial limits on how many people you can interact with at once will either.

As it was with Black Prophecy, SWG, SWTOR, the aborted Jumpgate game and Star Trek Online, people will go try it (yelling loudly about how EVE sucks as they leave) and then slink back quietly when they figure out that the things they professed to hate in EVE were the things that made EVE worth playing, things that others games don't (or refuse to) have.

Not that I won't personally be playing the hell out of Elite (and SC, and Valk), I like fun little distraction games sometimes, but EVE isn't a game, it's a way of life Cool
