How to fix Carriers/Nullsec

First step: Restrict carriers to using fighters only. Right now they are capable of annihilating any subcap in the game with regular drones, and don't even need to target them to do it. This is clearly imbalanced and when Titans did it, it got banhammered to oblivion.

Second step: Restrict carriers to only a single remote repair module (Shield, Armour, Hull and Cap) of each type at one time. In other words, a carrier could have a Remote Shield and a Remote Armour and a Remote Hull and a Remote Cap at once, but not two Remote Shield.

There. Nullsec is fixed.

Because the Legacy Code has too much Psssssssssssssssh, nothing will ever get fixed until CCP stop wasting money on failed sparkle MMOs and instead rewrite the entire backend of EvE from scratch.

I'm no nullsec dweller but why the heck would you restrict a logistic ship to 1 rep, while nerfing their only means of offense by not allowing a drone ship....to use drones.

The idea of fighters only is sound on the basis carriers punch down on well everything.
Dreads are fine as they need extensive support (lokis and hugghins/Golems with links) to effectively punch down. Thus since they have support, you can kill the support and the dreads die.
Thus carriers should lose the drone bay just as seen with the dreads.
I wonder if making fighters be 1 mbit and then leaving carriers with say 15 would work or whatever it is for the max fighters they can control.

The remote logi part I see as being the issue of dealing with spider tanks or repped subcaps. Spider tanks can be solved by the simple fix of remote cap mods not magiking cap into existence and being a realistic shoot cap at some one from your pool. That would do well to fix the current logi meta issue and finally give love to the logi drones (yes i mad, Oneiros is love). Optionally you could just disallow capital logi to effect subcaps for a single issue fix, that would also mean their are subcaps around to support the carrier force thus brining more interest to the capital fights. Interest of course meaning more losses, now buy my stuff!

This might be a reasonable idea given the recent buffs fighters got.

However the rest of your ideas are terrible.

Overall this is a tricky suggestion, if carriers loose the ability field drones (and im talking even light and medium drones, not just sentries) and have restricted remote reps, dont they become just dreads with 1/3 - 1/5 of the damage and some repair ability?

Doing something to nerf sentry drones on carriers is a good idea. The two ideas you suggest above "fixing nullsec" is horribly incorrect.

Shameless plug- here are some ideas that could actually fix nullsec.

Oh look.... Another lets b i t c h at slowcat archons thread.... If you don't like the sentry ball they do which all carriers must individually target now to work, yes no more 500+ assist, then just alpha them off the field with Torps Phoenix or Arty Nags and yes it can be done. 18 hitting the lowest resist, 50 hitting the highest resist if they have links.... this is assuming All V damage and Damage Application, you will insta-pop slowcat archons. So quit bitching and star working on your Dread Fleet....

A dread fleet that will get totally destroyed once the slowcats call for backup from their supers.
