I don't know about the rest of you but I'm up to 21 mill just to clone, on all mains.

I'd really like to see a time stamp on clone fees instead of this pay as you go system.

Think about it this way: with all of the buzz and talk about the changes in sov mechanics, people are just continuing to work with what they have for the time being. Well, ****. I hadn't thought of that.

So does summer start in March?

It did here.

We brits just are not used to having a good hot sunny summer, we are scared.

Me either. That's certainly an interesting perspective, especially for me, since I have more or less sworn off that kind of thing and it hadn't crossed my mind.

Normally that's a pretty good description, yes. Certainly for the previous 7 or 8 years.

There has been freakish amounts of genuine sunshine here this summer though. It's sunny right now. To the extent that I have several times gone not just to the beach but actually swimming in the sea. In Scotland. (Edinburgh has a pretty nice beach, it turns out)

What doesn't happen every year is for player population to fall off a cliff. See eve-offline, it's at its lowest level since 2008.

Sure, I'll bite. Just picking a tip in the spear of a slump, and the one random date in the recovery.
Weekly average for 7-10-2014: 24361
Weekly average for 7-24-2014: 26458

Weekly average for 9-11-2008: 17397
Weekly average for 10-30-2008: 22885

The current slump is nowhere near 2008.

Oh, and by the way:
Weekly average for 6-09-2011: 22619
Weekly average for 11-24-2011: 24881

What was that you were saying again?
As a whole, it's looking like we're more at summer of 2011 levels than 2008.

That being the summer colloquially referred to as "The Summer Of Rage" when EVE lost 20% of its subscriptions in a few weeks?

Interesting. I live about 50 miles south of you on the east coast. Last time I tried swimming in the north sea it was so cold it made my bones ache. Maybe time to try again.

Yes,
however comparing login levels to sub levels would likely be foolhardy in a game where it's not uncommon to take a two to three week "vacation" while a particularly long skill trains up. The sub is now required to keep training, but logging in is not.

We're actually seeing an uptick in weekly activity at the moment. Overall, no, this summer doesn't appear to be any worse than any other, when you normalize for the entire year. We also just had an expansion based on industry, which doesn't necessarily require much logging in anyway...plus, it's ******* industry. Did you really expect Retribution levels of excitement?

If you'd have bothered to read further into the thread, you'd have seen that my perception was correct. So yeah, there's that.
Fortunately for the OP, he's still able to make a better post with his third language than this **** you slopped onto the board. I have a feeling that English isn't your third language. Good job.

It's past twelve already and there are timers on sunday to attend to. What stagnation? Lol

Nah, I agree, it's summer so it's calm compared to the colder months. Fact is, same goes for my enemies. By the same reasoning one could state the 'little guy' can do more because the lumbering bureaucrats and station campers are operating in snooze mode.
