Interbus station

Way back in 2008 CCP Zulu posted on the old forums "We are aware of the "missing" interbus station, it should be in-game q1-q2 next year."
http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=905941&page=2#34

Since then there's been no mention of the missing station.

Requesting that Interbus finally get their station in Ourapheh (where they hold sov).

If adding this is a problem because of having to add a LP store maybe instead of making a LP store, give players the option to exchange Interbus LP's - for a percentage loss on them, to another corporation LP store in the four main empires that Interbus has positive standings with.
The exchange rate could be based on the factions standings to Interbus (so gallente corps would give a little more than say amarr ones).

If the exchange rate was balanced enough this would make up for the "no missions against empire factions", but still give players the option to run missions for the corp without having the big penalty of no LP store at all.

Note - There should not be storyline mission agents or anywhere close to a 100% conversion rate - that would make it far too easy to grind standings with all 4 main empires / pick and choose from many LP stores of course.

Well why not. I proposed almost the same recently.

Take InterBus LP as wildcard LP for other faction stores or LP stores of other globally acting corps.
Why not adding wildcard LP for Concord and ORE too,

Wildcard LP for empire and/or pirate factions and so on. Sounds interesting enough to me.

Concord LP can already be converted.

well there is an interbus catalyst in the game .. you could have that in their LP along with other ship skins they could add .. along with the usual implants etc..

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Why not, is good idea.
Maybe some day we see Interbus ships too :)

When I read the "Boost Syndicate LP-Store"-Thread I found a great idea.

Thukker Tribe, Interbus, Syndicate and maybe ORE create a conglomerate in order to make the smuggling business happen.
There's no need for new ships, but I would like to see some small ships. Big ships are not able to hide easily and not the correct size for that business.

Conglomerate LP-Stores offer usually small factional moduls and rigs which provide one of the following (examples only):
- lowering MWD sig radius penalty
- lowering ship sig
- considerable more warp speed
- considerable more subwarp speed
- considerable more cargo in frigate size ships not haulers (up to 1.000m³)
- considerable more agility (manouverability)
- hardening against cargo scanners
- defense moduls (shield/armor)
- specialized cloaking
- long range ewar
- multi-warp-core stab
- modules to allow capturing of ships (special emp/ewar) -> true piracy (destruction derbies are no real piracy but heresy)
owner pays ransom for ship...
- information war modules (i.e. reflect the signature of a whole fleet from a single frigate)
- small jump drive with the ability to jump into highsec systems almost hidden (has to be balanced with covops), counter fleets will need some seconds to arrive
- etc.
Maybe they provide counter modules theirselves. Maybe SoCT and/or SoE will do, maybe with Jove designs.
In highsec factional navy counter fleets will patrol

For smuggling you need to stay almost invisible and hidden. You need a fine defense but nearly no offense. You need to escape instead of facing a fight. This would lead to a new ship design with 1-2 high slots and several med or low slots depending on producing faction.
Ships might be hard but not impossible to scan.

Conglomerate agents may offer distribution missions from 0-/lowsec to highsec with illegal stuff and great reward.
Empire factions should declare different stuff for illegal. So agents can ask for stuff like that in high. So smuggling makes sense.
Distribution agents are all of level 1 but reward diferent for the capsuleers risk and range. So you could be rewarded with about 1.000.000 ISKper jump for a 0-sec ride and with 20.000 ISK per jump in high and an equivalent amount of convertible LP.
Conglomerate POSes are hidden ("CovOP POS"). Black market POSes have forcefields which deaktivate all ship modules and electronic systems (also self destruct) inside the field. But all ships would be able to enter the forcefield.
Ship-2-ship-trade

I see a chance to provide a complete new style to play. You must no longer fight the fat badass but could be a small and secret badass yourself.
"Cockroaches behind a wall". Smugglers and thiefs could become happen.

Still missing that station that "should be in-game q1-q2 next year." (meaning 2009).

Indeed, there's been a precedent set with the Concord LP's being able to be converted so why not Interbus as well.

One station in lowsec or isolated high sec might be interesting

Is that my two cents or yours?
