so, why do we not have an option to find these cloakys? why do they not require fuel to operate. sure they use capacitor, but jeez if the star ship enterprise could of held cloak forever star trek wouldnt be so enjoyable

I have had dozens of AFK'ers cloak up in a low sec pocket where I hang out. They all have one thing in common - they don't do anything EXCEPT cloak up and go AFK. So far, I haven't done anything about them because I haven't felt the need to, because I'm always paying attention and watching dscan. The bottom line is, as long as they're cloaked, they can't do any more to you than you can do to them, and that's why there's no option to find them.

How about, nothing you've said so far hasn't been brought up and dismissed in the past.

Your ideas are not new and no less pathetic now than when they were first suggested. Likewise, the responses you're getting are exactly what you deserve for resurrecting this nonsense.

You do realise that at my earliest opportunity, I'll be using a locator to find you and send an AFK cloaky toon your way now just to annoy you.

Doesn't matter what we say, you just want people to agree with you as you've already made up your mind.

There will never be a viable answer to a self inflicted problem.

I wasnt expecting anything to change after the long list of locked topics on the same category. I was just looking for information as to why this mechanic is so simple yet so effective. we all have our opinions on it, i just wonder why the greater majority get pinned down and ignored for insolence when its arguable on both sides.
im just baffled by it all. i guess there is some viable answers like, why can market orders be made and go offline to make isk etc i cant argue that at all maybe i should join the party! if u cant beat them join them isnt it?

maybe because your "problem" exist only in your mind?
if he's afk he cant be doing anything against you, if he stop being afk to do something, he wont be afk.
so where's the problem in an afk cloaker?

i guess you are right i guess the problem occurs when i question if the individual is actually awake. i guess this is the joys of living in null sec and i should of taken that into account when i decided to move here, and probably before i started this long over due locked topic. So now I have my answer.

Why the rage? How many ships have you lost to your AFK friends?
