Wheather or not it is beautiful or ugly is an opinion. It is a thing to be judged in some cases, and in other cases it is for pure enjoyment. I find Van Gogh paintings absurd. - my opinion- I love John Singer Sargeant paintings though.- another opinion. Popularity is what puts a price on things. However the thing still remains a thing.
