T3 ships and modules

I have noticed a strong increase in price for every t3 ship and the most used sub systems since the cirus update.
While most of the cirus related price spikes are going back down to normal prices, the t3 stay high.
So is the t3 price finally going back to where it was a year ago, or is it just another peak because the t3 production in WH space has to be adjusted to cirus?
I would like to hear your opinion about it.

I don't see why people wouldn't contribute. I think everyone who expected this already sold their stocks and is either prepare of what is happening next with the T3, or lost interest in them.
In my case I was lucky and made a couple billions by accident. :)

But I still like to know if the production in WH space changed that significant that T3 are getting more expensiv, or if the change back to "old" prices has other reasons. :)

Supply and demand mate.

T3's are oversupplied right now because demand is low and people in wormholes are continuing to farm away driving prices lower and lower.

The real issue I believe is people don't want to lose skill points for losing them. Crius probably made Reverse Engineering slightly slower (like invention) but that probably won't have any real impact since people have thousands of BPCs all ready to build from - it just isn't worth it due to low demand.

Any spike now is most likely due to speculation for the next patch which changes invention (and probably RE and the T3 production chain).

Just my opinion - I'm often wrong.

I don't think the actual spike is really related to speculations for the next addon. Since there is no DEV post yet with any details about the upcoming changes. And the spike of the T3 started with the Cirus release.

I think I am missing here a part in of the big picture. The high supply of T3 should actually make them super cheap and not lead to a spike in all hubs for all 4 T3 ships.

Likely has nothing to do with the added cost of jobs at towers, making BPCs, parts, the stubs and hulls OR a reduction in supply due to less people living in WHs and running sites.

For sure its not a reduction in supply. I think I have never seen as much orders for T3 ships and modules before.
Might be just a big speculation bubble going on for t2 and t3 ships. Just hard to imagine that someone could keep it that constant for 2 weeks all over eve.

There are a couple of reasons for the increase but the actual margins on most of them have remained pretty constant before and after Crius. Most of the subs that aren't profitable now are just pre-built ones from before Crius that have lower sales volumes than the main ones that get used so now they are "overproduced" and the subs who's price have shot up are just the ones built post Crius with all the fees attached.

For example, it now takes about 2 days to make a Tech 3 hull instead of 1.5 days so there is slower production leading to higher demand and the install costs for both the components and hulls/subs have increased DRAMATICALLY!!!!! Seriously, I about **** my pants when one build cost me a total of 750mil in just install costs Shocked. And any good industrialist just passes on the increased cost to the consumer so welcome to Crius.

Thanks for your insight. I have literally no clue about production and I didn't follow the Cirus changes much, so it is really interesting to hear how the changes really affected the production.
I actually prefer increasing prices for ships and modules. Losing them will lead to a decrease of actual cash in the game and maybe the inflation stops :)
