Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I cannot install blueprints into the industry thing.

Still new at this whole industry stuff. I have the required skills and all the materials needed, so maybe it's a bug?

Anyone else having this issue?

Tell us what "cannot install" means. Errors, everything (input materials) all red, skills not high enough, trying to do it remotely, what?

Could be a number of things. Best way to get a helpful answer is write out a detailed play by play of what you are doing.

Play by play is...

I open the industry tab.
It shows my BP in the bottom in my inventory line.
I click and drag the BP into the box.

...nothing...

Right click > Install blueprint

...still nothing...

Check station if all facilities are in use.

...there's, like, 3 being used...

Scratch my head, google the problem, nothing is found.

It's a simple LV1 distro mission where I have to build some robot parts, or whatever. I have everything I need and the required skills, but..... o.O

Open your Inventory window with the blueprint; rt click on Blueprint, select "Use Blueprint". Inventory window opens with blueprint installed and you can then select options from there.

It's much faster using "Use Blueprint" than scrolling thru blueprints at the bottom of the industry window (I have too many blueprints for that small display to be usable for me).

I am getting the same problem. It just won't let you install it, as in put it into the industry menu. Have all prereqs but it just isn't letting us install it. Help would be great.

I should also note that there is no message. Just nothing happens.

Same issue. When I hover over the Start button after clicking it, I get "Job duration has changed" and "The material requirements have changed" as the reasons for the failure.

Same issue, something got seriously borked in the patch this morning. I've been running jobs since Crius came out without problem until today. Evil

I get some kind of "can't do this" message when I mouse over the install/start/whateveritiscalled-button for a BPO copy job, but nevertheless when I click on the button the job starts. Rather odd, and quite confusing.

I have noticed that for corp jobs the "Start" button remains red with the popup info thingy telling that it cant be started for some reason, however, when I actually push the button the job starts fine.

I have a BPO in the item hangar in Gakem IV - Moon 5 - Ishukone Corporation factory station.
When I rightclick und select "use blueprint" I get the "Industry" window, but the blueprint does not show up there in the center.
It says "Please install blueprint". But how?
I have already one research job running at another station, but have the Laboratory Operation skill at level 2. So I should be able to install a second research job.
But I dont even see the Start button.

Same issue. Blueprint installation does not work.

Right click "use this blueprint", nothing happens. No response of any kind.
Drag and drop the blueprint in, same issue.
Doubleclick the blueprint, same.

Been doing blueprints all along with no issues until the patch.

Same problem, everything is ok. Start button is yellow, pushing it does nothing but give a information that "Your industry job could not be submitted", upon howering over the start button it says "Job duration has changed".

Workaround that worked for me was to use the arrows in "JOB RUNS" and reduce the number of jobs with one.

Hey guys,
I was having the same issue as all of you. Took me forever to get it working. Just undock and redock and then right click the blue print, use blue print and then give it a sec and it will pop up in industry tab. If it still dosent work then its probably a bug. Good luck

Even if it works like this it is a bug, as you should be able to produce things without undocking and redocking first.

Bug report it.

The new UI has more caching, which is driving me nuts. I find sometimes have to wait 5 minutes after delivering a job before the BPO appears again in the UI.
