New Module: Auxiliary Fuel Bay

Exactly what it sounds like; usable on black ops and capitals. Low-slot item, ordered in sizes of small, medium, and large. Small fits to black ops, medium fits to dreads and carriers, and large fits to titans and motherships. There are different bay variants, which include bridging fuel for titans and blops.

Not sure what a good amount would be for bay size on each level, or how much space it should use, since JF doesn't have the space for it if it requires any PG or CPU. Thoughts?

I think Fuel Bays are a specific size for a specific reason. Just as miners don't get to expand their ore holds, I think jump drive capable ships should not be able to expand their fuel bays.

This...

Its to limit jump range and power projection, in theory. Granted that has been worked around if your crew works out refueling stops but....it does add that added logistical pita at least.


Now a half jest half truth blops fit I saw here had a blops loaded with cargo expanders lol. Gets some carrying room I guess.

The last damb thing we need is yet another buff to power projection at this point.

That **** can already jump too far. And yes I fly and own a Dread and Carrier and I think capital projection is already OP.

Nope specific Bays should not be extendable.

But how else can we convince CCP power projection needs a nerf without adding things to buff it first? Amarr God knows they'll try it down the line; might as well let them get it out of their system with something like this. Roll
