If i recall ccp said something about balancing production time with the new "slower" invention, the problem is the new invention times are not slow enough to be a bottleneck. The result the market is going to squeeze margins close to zero in just 3-4months.Something needs to change either further increase production or invent times at current rate you will see another big wave of industrialists leave the game.

Don't be stupid. They won't make it so one invention will take 30days like the queues used to be.

But you are welcome to leave. Less industrialists , more margin.

But I do agree with you.
T2 market is going to be the ospreys of pre crius

The element of time efficiency in manufacturing and sometimes invention is of less importance to me than material efficiency was. I log on the same time each day and can stay logged on for 4 or 5 hours. All these buffs to the time element post Crius isn't benefiting my playing style much. The removal of material efficiency being replaced by advanced industry has taken a bit away from me.

Before Crius my invention jobs took 1 hour 15 minutes. During my 4 or 5 hours online I could easily do 30+ total runs using 10 slots. Now they take 3.5 hours each so i do less jobs per day. However it is nice that you only need single run bpc's now that can yield a 10 run bpc with positive material and time efficiency numbers. I've got thousands of max run bpc's i made before Crius that will keep me busy inventing for years!! Of course i'm dreaming but it would be nice to queque invention jobs on top of each other like the training queque.

The same goes for time efficiency while manufacturing . Unless you need to run your jobs continuously 24 hours a day it doesn't matter if a job takes 8 or 18 hours for me. If i could play eve at work i might be able to better take advantages of all these time bonuses.

I'm not complaining..............i'm just expressing my observations for so many of us that can only play EVE a few hours at a time. Post Crius I still am manufacturing many items at a healthy profit. It has just become more challenging. The more pissed off indy guys that leave will just give me more opportunity!!! -chuk

To be honest I was totally hoping for a production queue similar to the skill queue that lets you plan for up to 24 hours with these changes.

Only one of the reasons why I think this patch is a major letdown.

I actually strongly agree with you OP.

Markets everywhere are flooded with T2. More producers than ever and easier interfaces means it actually cuts into everyones margin for manufacturing.

The only beneficiaries of faster T2 production are the high end moon owners. Crius is a pretty blatent boost for high end moons.

Well yes high end moon owners do benefit from super increased production times, however they too will suffer once every margin is down to unbearable levels. Why?
Because when something doesn't have profit you don't build it, you don't build you don't spend materials.Once the moon goo stays for ages on the market this will eventually backfire on null sec alliances hard time, so I don't think this change was really meant to be, someone just made bad calculations and they need to fix it before it gets out of hand.

No just CCP crapping up their game as per usual when they try to change anything fundamental.

Me: That wasn't our deal!!
CCP: I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further.
