Terrorism!

Is there such a thing in Eve?

I was curious as I have seen pirates, war Corps, industrialists, bounty hunters etc, but nobody labeling themselves as terrorists. Even on the Eve personality test, the closest thing to a terrorist I could see was a "freedom fighter".

If there is no such thing as a terrorist in Eve, I may have to look further into the subject Twisted

What is whole miner/freighter ganking business you think? Drops, sure but it also strucks fear into weaker minded pilots and disrupts establishment's order of things which in fact is a main goal of terrorism.

This is more along the lines of what I mean. I agree, I can see why miner ganking is one form of Eve terrorism, but I'm sure with enough planning and thought, the idea can be greatly expanded on Smile

Meh, I don't think making war official enough for military forces to not get involved is something terrorists do :)

Pretty sure freighter pilots have called us terrorists when we do Burn Jita.

You can make trips into null farms and terrorize those who live there. Drop siphons at POSes, steal from ESS. Hell, just cloak up and go to work and you will make more damage then any weapon can do. And if you occasionally gank those who dare to undock your terror will burn forever.

Never run afoul of him, I take it?

Let me predicate this by saying that I fear no man in EVE Online. But Cannibal Kane is no man, he is a fiend wearing a human face, presumably torn whole from one of his victims.

He is fear incarnate. And if it weren't for seemingly being heavily occupied with real life and thus not active in EVE, he'd be even worse than that.

But that aside, he calls himself a terrorist, which was the OP's question in the first place. Big smile

There shouldn't be anything in a game that causes terror. So I'd say no.

That's true, I never had the pleasure, probably because I don't cross hisec borders much. And it's hard to be a terrorist in a ghetto where losing sh!t is basically a reason to undock :)

Yes, I realize I am standing in front of a mirror saying: Cannibal Kane, Cannibal Kane, Canni...

The proof is in the hair -- it's far too magnificent to have been grown by a mere mortal.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
