Why would you ( CCP) invest in character portrait customization moreover with RL money and then.... make it possible for *anyone* from *anywhere* deface your portrait by placing a bounty on you....

For the second time, after asking a question in one of the chat channels, not the help channel, i got a bounty place on me. Its funny, people just talk to you, in an amicable way, respond to you, and then bam you get a notification from Concord. And then needless to say when i asked why, someone else from that channel added to it..

A lot might not agree with the changes in bounty hunting and claiming that came with Retribution, but i must admit it did shut down the door on claiming your own bounty, and it works.

But why, oh why make it so easy to freely place bounties at whim especially when you went to such lengths to upgrade the suspect/criminal flag and associated counters system, not to mention encourage us to spend RL money on something that anyone can deface with game money, and a lot less of it.

Glad i havent spend any time on my portrait not to mention AUR..

He's got a point. If you're trying to convince players to buy items for their characters, you don't want them turned off by the prospect of their image being tainted and ugly anyways due to the bounty.

No idea or suggestion to be found, but would rather call it a complain then a rant. Still the wrong place.

Any of those bounties is just saying 'HY'.

And if you want to see your portrait or your whole char, its not covered by that label. And neither is the chat portrait or any other, just the small info window, don't see any issues here in the first place. And anyone being put off to use a contract due to a 10k -99 mil bounty is just plain ignorant.
