It's been discussed before and I think the general concensus is they'd be so far ahead of us technologically that we wouldn't stand a chance of understanding it, nor beating them if they didn't take a liking to us.

Neat idea in many ways, but by the Lore, we've pretty much forgotten that we came from Earth. They would just be alien to us.

but ... but the Jove told us the secret about Cloning and stuff ... they would come to Help us Finaly Jove leaves their ccp GM territory and start to live in the Empireand null tons of new Epic arcs and Cosmos missions to Protect New Eden from these superior Earth Humans ..... Screw Sansha xD

That's a really neat plot twist. Would be interesting if they found us and launched a major attack against all three factions :o

I don't know if I'd describe “a complete one-sided wipeout” as “interesting”.

so youd want the same story-stagnating, BS deus ex machina, cliche, cheap way to introduce "aliens" into a sifi game as everyone else?

Well, when the EvE gate collapsed, it pretty much screwed New Eden, It probably did the same to the other side.
They must have been in a mess if they were sending so many through it in the first place.
