Did you know: That shrimps are all born male but slowly grow into females

Are you a player with less than 15 million skill points and willing to learn the game? Then hit us up in-game by joining our public channel [SOUND].

Did you know: That a crocodiles never outgrow their enclosure

That's kinda weird. I heard crocodiles have never been seen dying of aging either. We're looking for a few recruits to take under our wing, so if you enjoyed our recruitment thread then come into [sound] for a chat. The channel name is with the brackets.

Do we have to have done the SOE Ark?

It is good experience but I don't believe that is is a pre-requisite to join. Joing the [SOUND] channel and talk to a recruiter for a chat.

SOE arc is definitely highly recommended, but not mandatory unless you're a fresh out of the box pilot.

Did you know: People may look more attractive when a person is drunk because the drunken person is less likely to notice the asymmetry of a face

I'm sure that's the reason and it has nothing to do with the fact that drunk people are dumb. If you join [SOUND] chat today, it'll be impossible for you to get drunk enough to not notice the asymmetry of the questions. We ask a lot of them.

Did you know: That just $30 of raw popcorn translates into $3,000 in sales at movie theaters.

Reasonable People is a very newbie friendly corporation and one I would highly recommend. If you enjoyed their recruitment thread then jump into their channel [sound] and say hello.

Currently building carriers and rorquals. Contact me for a cheap capital ship.

Jump into [sound] to learn more about how we operate as a corporation / alliance.

Man, I really love your writing style!
You guys have quite a history, I've enjoyed reading that battle report too (yeah, managed to ram though the whole wall of text xD What can I say? I like reading a lot.), not to mention the light sarcasm here and there ;) Was quite an enjoyable read!

Too much of a new guy (I have literally 120k-ish SP... yea, a bit on the lower side of the spectrum XD) to try out null sec, but I'll definitely keep you guys in mind if I want to join a skirmish type pvp corporation =)
Always wanted to try Logi and friagte/destroyer combat ^^ I'm more of a support-oriented player =)

Have a nice flight!

P.S.: I LOVE those "Did you know" bits xD informative and funny at the same time =)

FYI: Earlier in the week, I finished a level 5 skill and my SP jumped from 14.5 million to 15.3 million. Does that disqualify me now?

BTW, I'm in the [SOUND] chatroom as I type this. 23:00 EVE time. I'll be around for a few hours and again tomorrow if necessary. Then I won't be back until Monday. Fishing trip. :)

Did you know: That gorillas can't swim.

They should have thought of that in the Planet of the Apes movie. You know with the only route between humans and the apes was a bridge.

Did you know: Nearly 75% of drunk drivers involved in fatal collisions are not wearing their safety belts.

Did you also know that 100% of drunk drivers involved in fatal collisions were drunk? Is there a real reason to be publicizing that drunk drivers should wear seat-belts? Do we really want those people to y'know... continue to live... so they can drive drunk more often?

Corp-related, the summer is over and we're back to recruiting now that we're in sensible fall, the time of year where people stop going on vacations, stop going to the beach, stop going out in the sunshine and start staying indoors to play EVE. Fall is so much better than summer. Swing by [SOUND] chat today and avoid the dreariness of watching leaves die by staying inside to watch spaceships die.

Did you know: Studies show that HIV-infected men are more likely to progress to AIDS if they are under high stress than those with lower levels of stress

So if you get HIV, be sure to be like "HIV? No big deal!" and chill, rather than being concerned about your diagnosis. In fact, the best way to relax is to play EVE. Sailing in space, so relaxing! Swing by [SOUND] chat today, even if you don't have HIV, we'll still talk to you.

Did you know: That when you laugh when being tickled, you are actually experiencing a form of panic?

Crazy right?! If you join the [SOUND] public chat channel today, Xavier may tickle you. Okay, maybe not tickle YOU, but definitely tickle your brain. But don't panic, because they are a great group of guys and gals! They took in this knucklehead!

Did you know: The second most popular present after clothing in 2010 was gift cards. In 2009, consumers spent $23.6 billion on gift cards during the holidays, with an average of $40 on each card. In 2010, 85% of consumers spent up to $50 on each gift card.

A great example of how stupid people are in general. You know what a gift card is? It's an acknowledgement that you had to buy a gift for someone but had no actual interest in getting to know them or what they're interested in. "Oh hey, I put money on a plastic thing that you can trade for something you want. I'd find out what you want, but I really don't give a **** about you." 23.6 billion in not-give-a-****-if-you-live-or-die presents. Like well thought out presents? Swing by [SOUND] chat, we'll at least talk to you long enough to figure out if the gift of our corp is the right package to put under your EVE tree.

Did you know: According to a 2009 Washington Times article, the Taliban buys children as young as seven years old to act as suicide bombers. The price for child suicide bombers is between $7,000-$14,000.

You have to wonder what the variance in price is for. One would think that pretty much all kids would be equally adept at suicide bombing. Is the expense scaled on the size of the kid, like a larger kid can carry more explosives so he's worth 14k rather than 7k? Or is it due to intellect, more intelligent kid costs more? Ah, the mysteries of insane religious people, will they ever cease! You know what doesn't cease though? Recruitment for our corp. Swing by [SOUND] chat today, there's no difference in value in our eyes regarding recruits... you're all priceless to us. AWW!

Did you know: From August 2007 to October 2008, an estimated 20%, or $2 trillion, disappeared from Americans’ retirement plans

And nobody went to jail for it. But I have some good news, capsuleers. If you join us, only 10% of your future income will disappear from your wallet... which is then replaced by SRP every time you lose a PvP ship by the alliance. Swing by [SOUND] chat today so we can start the process of planning your EVE future.

Did you know: During the time of the Spanish Inquisition, Pope Innocent VIII condemned cats as evil and thousands of cats were burned. Unfortunately, the widespread killing of cats led to an explosion of the rat population, which exacerbated the effects of the Black Death.

More like "Did you know that Popes are dumb." Because they're so dumb. Yes, Francis, this means we won't recruit you. However, the rest of you reading this are NOT popes and therefore are not restricted from being recruited by our corporation. Swing by [SOUND] chat as long as you don't own a scepter or a large pointy jewel-encrusted hat and we'll see if we can't infect you with the reasonable plague of life in our corporation.
