Hi guys,

So I went through industry index math and went through maps to find high-sec systems that will now and in long run have lowest industry index. So if you plan to do some serious industry at lower expenses just drop a POS in these systems. They also don't have any manufacturing AND research slots in stations to compete with you so every industry aspect will be cheaper. One with lower moon count are the best.

Sec. status - System name - number of moons

Nice reverse psychology attempt to get people to avoid your favourite system by posting it on a public forum. Big smile

Maybe I'm just selling POS spots in those systems Big smile

What's that law about observing something and it changes as a result of that observation? Or does that not apply here?

It's also a list of the systems least equipped to deal with Team bids.

Because those are so difficult to find? Reserving spots with offline towers doesn't work. You're 50m ISK away from losing your "reserved" spot(s). Not that I'd know anything about it. Oops

Yea I know. IMHO people that reserve spots and then try to resell them are $%&@.

I think its just called "Observer effect" and you could mix in some of "Hawthorne effect".
But in this case if you take system with 10 or less moons and because all those systems don't have research/manufacturing in station, there is really not much that can increase you industry index.

Urlen is like this very close to Jita.

In two days it has shot up to 2% already and at this rate it will soon be worse than less-used factory-equipped systems. There are already systems not much further away from Jita with lower manufacturing index than Urlen.

So much for that.

Good luck on the POS spot business. Eventually someone will count up the number of offline small POSes they get to gank for a single wardec and do some bulldozing :)

I don't have POS spot business, that was a joke. I was in merc alliance and only anchored poses are the worst, no loot drop Sad
I hope CCP introduces mechanism of removing them through hacking or something.

But Urlen indeed could get crowded just because its 2 j from Jita on Amarr-Jita pipe. And it has 20 moons so its not great like systems with less then 10 moons. But comparing to other systems close to Jita, this one will have lower index (relatively speaking) as no station job can be installed.

P.S. Check k162's blog with good analysis of changes in industrial indexes over most used systems!

I think it's the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, which is also the term for the anticipation going into the last episodes of "Breaking Bad."

Actually Heisenberg uncertainty principle has been confused with a somewhat similar effect in physics, one I mentioned above called "observer effect", which notes that measurements of certain systems cannot be made without affecting the systems.

Heisenberg uncertainty principle deals with the fact that measuring one parameter reduces precision of measuring other related parameter like measuring position of subatomic particles hinders you to precisely measure momentum of the same particle.

So effect Commander Venture refers to is "observer effect".
