After watching GD for some time now, I think I have found a cure for the bitter vet disease. For me, it's clear it's not about what CCP brings or doesn't bring. It's not about promises not kept. Its about fear. A deadly fear.

A great rule for EVE is "don't fly what you cannot loose"

as a cure to BitVet is would suggest:

If you are so afraid of loosing your thing (could by ISK, Sov, Positions, Reputation), that you see any change CCP makes as something you have to rant about, its time to give it all away and start fresh and new. That way, you have lost soo much, that it will feel like a relieve to you and you might enjoy the game again.

As the inventor of the BitVet cure, I would suggest that you leave all your ISK en stuff to me. I will make sure that it all will be disposed of in a good way.

I think you've missed the mark, since with Crius, it's not bittervets that are complaining.

I think shitposting is a much worse disease.

Have you gotten yourself checked out lately, OP?

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

19.08.2014 - Dinsdale gets slammed by CCP Falcon. Never forget.

I see remarks complaining that CCP doesn't react to a thread, but they do. Complaining its another bad patch. I see complains that the wrong things are being fixed or nothing is being fixed. That sounds bittervet to me.

Bravo, sir! I declare myself defeated in this game of wits. Why not since I was in 1st grade have I witnessed such skill in the art of the comeback.

It sounds like Bittervet according to your definition of it

You'll find thatmost of the complainers (on that and every other topic tbqfh) are either not in the game loong, or are liars

It is interesting to see how CCP predicted the Bitter Vet Disease quite accurately when they designed the Jovians with their Jovian Disease.

Thats just before you quit school?

If you look at my post, i think there is really a true thing behind it. I really think bittervets are afraid of loss. You can agree or disagree, but your reaction was asking for that reply.

To quote myself from a long time ago, “One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. ”

So please forward all that ISK.

Check their employment history. The ealiest date is when that particular character was created, though it doesnt mean the player has been playing that long, the character could be bought in

And look at this, agreeing with Ramona again.
Yeah, most of those complainers are complaining because industry is "broken". But it's not actually "broken", it's just different. Us vets have been through enough changes to merely adapt and move on. I for example had my highsec industry chain back into profitable operation within a couple of hours of patching my client, even with the weird cost scaling bugs. The guys who are declaring it destroyed and packing up their POSes are newbies who are unable to adapt. They chug on through EVE IPH, and now that they suddenly have to work stuff out for themselves, their heads have imploded and they've hopped on the rage train outta here.

I'm way more afraid of people who can't spell the word lose.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise
