Research BP gets upto 10% material reduction, Team can give upto 4% material reduction, and assembly array 2%.

Can they all stack and reduce material costs by 16%, or is there a max bonus of say 10%, like previously skills didnt help on fully researched BP.

There's a max bonus. Someone did a table somewhere. I don't know where. If there is one, it's probably out of the game. Indeed, most of the things you need to know and tools you need to use are out of game. This is by design.

Simplest thing imho is go and get a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, write all the tools you need yourself and then log-in to Eve to do industry for the lolz.

They all stack, so you end up with a 15.328% reduction.

PS: You don't need a degree in computer science, a decade of programming experience is more than enough to deal with the new industry system.

/facepalm
He is asking if there is cap for these ME reduction or they all stacking. What degree you are talking about idiot ?

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.

There's no enforced cap. There is a maximum theoretical bonus you can currently achieve, but if we introduced a new bonus then that maximum would change. Obviously we have a strong desire not to take the bonus above 45% (hello, printing minerals), but otherwise go nuts :)

By the way, you can theoretically get 18.54% material reduction from teams 5.62% material reduction from teams and 3% (10% with Thukker Component Assembly) from the facility, so the theoretical maximum for non-components is a 28.89% reduction, which is pretty snazzy. However _extremely_ unlikely that such a team exists at any point in time. Also, goonswarm would have bought it already Lol

EDIT: Corrected maths, you can only get one narrow and one broad bonus that stack together

How does the math work for stacking?

I assume it is multiplicative like most everything else in this game.

So 10% for BPO and 2% for POS and 4% for team becomes:
0.90 * 0.98 * 0.96 = 0.84672

So 15.328% savings?

Is that correct, or a bad assumption?

That is completely correct.

Also teams have 4 members, each can have a material usage bonus up to 5%, they also stack multiplicatively. for a given group of items you can have a narrow (5%) and a broad (2.5%) bonus.
