Uploading to Eve-Central

Hi,

I'm trying to get regional market data uploaded to Eve-Central.com, as it seems at least my own orders haven't been seeded there yet. I've tried Contribtastic, Eve Markets Uploader and even messed around with EveMon, which just says there are no endpoints available. Nothing is getting updated, even though I've been seeding market data for two days now. Anyone know if there is a block so I cannot upload my own orders? I've also tried a different character, but no go. Also tried leaving upload suggestions page on for a few hours, letting the Contribtastic upload thousands of orders out of the game cache (in Essence region). Nothing is updated at Eve-Central.com.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers!

Did you have both of the programs opened at the same time? Evemon deletes the cache after each upload.

I recently used Evemon like you tried to and it worked with no problem. Where does it say "No endpoints available"? If you deactivated the market unified uploader at some point and no market site is selected then it will obviously not upload any data.

Well, I've tried multiple combinations. The latest one was to first run the cache with EVE Markets Uploader, which gives multiple errors like "FILE: Notify received for 67c9.cache". I haven't found a place where the uploader would actually log what is wrong with the cache file.

Then, I tried Contibtastic, having closed the previous Uploader, and it found all the cache files and sent them to Eve-Central.com. When I go check some of them, I see no updates on Eve-Central.com though.

Lastly, EveMon. When I go to Market Unified Uploader in the settings, the EndPoints -window said no endpoints available (and Use Market Unified Uploader was ticked, as being in use). I added a localhost with URL as http://127.0.0.1:80 and Path as /eve-central.com/api/upload but that said it's unreachable. Maybe something to do with Eve-Central then, since it doesn't work with either firewall on or off. Or perhaps my settings aren't right.

That's not an error. That's saying "I've noticed this cache file has changed/appeared". If it's a market data file it'll go on to upload the data to each of the endpoints you've got in your endpoints.txt file.

For example, the eve-central endpoint should have a line like

EVE-Central:http://eve-central.com/api/upload

Thanks for using my software, by the way - nice to know someone is! Haven't touched the code for a good while now.

Thanks for the input! I finally got it fixed. The good old clear cache, and fresh installs of all the 3rd party programs did the trick. Even EveMon showed the standard Endpoints after removing and reinstalling it. For some reason it was all just messed up. Regarding why EVE Markets Uploader or Contribtastic didn't work, I presume they had problems reading the cache data, and/or had problems connecting to Eve-Central, as only a small portion of the data got updated. After cache cleanup and reinstallation, all worked like a charm!

Cheers!
