we are claptraps. yes yes its boarderland. but its also a real word. look it up and see if you like it. it fits our corp perfectly.

we live out in true null. (catch) we are part of hero. so that means you need to be willing to have ts3 and mumble.

we have a good strong pvp core so far but we are also looking to expand our pve group so that we can have more fun when we arent out pvping.

the indy update just came out so now its time to try and get some miners as well. its a well nown thing that brave loses ships like there candy to a fat kid. so if you want to build moas and the mods for them you can make some isk out here.

Hey Azznagoth I feel your pain. Sub Par was a wormhole corp (C5/C5) that left wormspace for the exact reasons you outlined above and for us moving to null was a move for the better. If you fly in US or AU TZ I think you would find yourself a comfortable home with Sub Par.

Sub Par is a US/AU TZ corp living out in Immensea were many of our systems have full military upgrades, which makes ISKing up fairly painless. We conduct regular OPs and roams through out the week with our fleet numbers ranging from 10-60 pilots depending on what we are doing. Our FCs are experienced in many different tactics, very level headed and precise. In Sub Par we take a bit of a casual approach to eve so we understand that RL comes first, so no one will ever give you a hard time if you need to log in the middle of an OP or have you setting alarms for CTAs. We do however require CTA partcipation, if you our online during said CTA. Sub Par has a 7mil minimum skill point limit for our new pilots, the reason for this is we want everyone to be able to participate and succeed in our space. Here is a quick bullet point of what we are looking for in our pilots and what further we can offer you.

• Mature pilots with mature attitudes.
• No drama. Don't need it don't want it. If you like drama this is not the corp you seek.
• A willingness to go out and get your hands dirty from time to time. We don't expect you to be a full time PvPer, but you shouldn't be afraid to go out on roams and/or blow up other players.
• Easy going pilots, with easy going attitudes. Pilots that can take a jab or two, but not be afraid to fire back.
• A willingness to learn and/or assist players new to the world of EVE.
• Full API upon Completion of a successful interview, no ifs, ands or buts about it.
• US/AU Timezone. Not so much a requirement but this is the timezone we are most active in.
• 7 million minimum skill points.

We're a part of the Get Off My LAWN alliance. We have a couple constellations down in Delve (nullsec) that has nothing but good fights all around waiting to take part in.

Right now the rest of the CFC has come down to Delve to join us so if PVP is your thing -- There's almost always a fleet up for raking in the kill mails.

We also have a decent setup for industry and ratting if you like to take part in that stuff in your downtime.

Mostly, we're just a bunch of older players that understand real life comes first. LAWN is a family-friendly atmosphere.
