Don't know if this an issue with Crius...............I never read anything about it...........

I've had my own small POS for over a year. It has 1 advanced lab and 2 mobile research labs. I tried to start a invention job today and the first thing i noticed was the mobile research labs are for material and time research only. The advanced lab does copy and invention. I moved my stuff to the advanced lab and tried to start the job there. I get a message that i don't have the required roles to access the corp wallet. I never used the corp wallet before. Exactly what role would i need? My ceo is rarely online to ask for roles. I ended up going to a public station and started jobs there. I was then shocked to see how long the invention jobs would take!!!!!!

I didn't want to submit a bug report if my experience was anticipated. I want my pos back!!!!!! WAHHHHHHHH -chuk

Surprised you never had a wallet. It was a requirement when using a POS.

All members should be assigned a wallet, even if it is empty. The best way to do this is with titles.

For the love of sanity, don't assign roles and such individually to members. Use titles! Which is easier and less error-prone:
A) Edit every member in the corp. [Maybe a hundred check-boxes each.]
B) Assign a title, and edit only the title.
Obviously the answer is "B".

You need:
* Role: Factory Manager
* Role: Rent Research Slot
* Role: Rent Factory Slot
* QUERY Access to "Other" division, and optionally TAKE to remove.
* QUERY access to an assigned wallet division, and optionally TAKE to withdraw.

Anyone with Factory Manager role can deliver any job. "As of Odyssey 1.0, only Directors and the member that installed a job are able to cancel it."

Never assign the master wallet.

Thanks for your reply. I know i had roles before the patch and had a wallet division...........i just never used that wallet. Don't know what would have changed now where I can't start jobs. -chuk

You have to pay money now to install a job in a POS? Who gets that money the POS owner or CCP?

Does it cost the same amount to start a job from a POS as it does from a public NPC slot?

Job cost in POS have no NPC tax on them.
Jobs in stations have a 10% NPC tax on the job installation cost.

It's possible for a facility owner to set a tax rate on the facility, which acts like the NPC tax (a percentage on top of the job installation fee)

POS jobs have no NPC taxes, but they do now have install costs.

I understand the additional costs..............Whatever they are I want them to come out of my personal wallet...............just like before. The corp wallet shouldn't need to be touched................ -chuk

We have heard some pretty clear feedback that this is missing and so are adding an option to pay for corp jobs from your personal wallet. It is planned for release sometime next week.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm glad this was overlooked and can continue to research in my pos as before. Once I get a better understanding of the costs and deciding how much isk can be saved by traveling to less busy systems I will see if i want to keep my pos. It only costs me about 100 mil isk a month to keep it running. My 2 accounts who have trained all 4 alts for inventing this past month can really take advantage of the unlimited slots. It's probably a no brainer to keep it online. I'm thinking that the longer research times to get the higher levels of material or time research could be cheaper in a pos. Use stations for the initial 5 levels and then top them off in the pos. What do you think?? For someone like me who hates change i think i might have fun with this one!! -chuk

Cool... so a week from now I can start industry jobs and use my Drone-boat Domi to do missions when you fix Drone Avionics.
Good thing my 3-day weekend is now.
