Incursion systems post-Incarna (something I noticed)

Now, this isn't really a gripe, more just something I'm noting.

Back with station spinning, when in an Incursion system, you'd dock up and there'd be alarms going off all over the place. It'd really lend itself to that feeling of dread and urgency one would probably get in a solar system full of undead slaves killing everything that beeps, pews, breathes and hums.

With Incarna, as I can see right this moment, the system I'm in has that greenish tint to it but once docked I am simply in my quarters - no alarm, no emergency. I'm going to guess that this is because this certain aspect hadn't been implemented at the time, so I'm wondering if the station alarms will come back?

Guess it really isn't something worth bashing your keyboard over, but it was really a nice touch.

I'd also like to add that the CQ screen should only display static, with big, red lettering that says something like, "EMERGENCY: INCURSION"

I guess that's because the CQ is the safest place in the universe, no one will ever enter it Blink

Yeah, I remember something like that. I think of it as annoying once, but it was a nice touch and feel. CCP should fix/re-implement it back. Should also add maybe the red siren for eye candy :-) and Star Trek voyager's red alert alarm sounds going off!

As I only see The Door™ these days (cause of loading times), I haven't noticed this.
But I agree, it was a nice touch to have the alarms in station.

CCP probably figured the additional sounds and colors would be too distracting for the space mall visitors. I guess they're just too much for that seamlessness that CCP Zulu kept going on about.

Also, during those halcyon days of so long ago, one could sit in station and spin these loverly spaceships while experiencing the sense of dread and foreboding that the OP describes. Now, we have The Door™.

Well you're not in the hangar anymore, you're in your quarters. I'm sure there is some sort of special soundproofing Straight

Actually, these vanished at the same time the Amarrian chants were removed from the stations.

There's also a "known issue" with Incarna systems at the moment, not picking up the colours / other effects until you jump system.
