Manufacturing/Research in a POS Question

Hello all! I was looking through the threads and dev blogs but couldnt find an answer to my question.

If I manufacture in a pos in a system that does not have a manufacturing station, what is used to calculate the system cost index?

Stupid question from me.

In my POS I want to do some manufacturing but don't have access to my corp wallet to pay the taxes with.

And I can't find the option to pay the taxes out of my own wallet.

Am I missing a setting in an obscure place?

The index is based on manufacturing done from stations and POSs in the system together. If you're manufacturing in a system with no station, the index is likely to be quite low.

But won't be zero. To the OP, your taxes will likely be pretty close to the lowest anywhere, but won't be zero. You can just take a look at starting a job and see what the quote says (even if you don't have the blueprint, you can drag from market now)

The cost index you can get via CREST request for systems without any manufacturing is 0.001. At least that is my result of parsing it today after the patch went live. Just in comparison, the cost index for my current system for manufacturing is about 0.057.
