I am having the same issue.

I have the GS60 Ghost Pro with the same GPU.

Have you found any resolve for this?

I also get Nvidia driver has crashed and recovered. 90% of the time nothing happens except screen flickers, sometimes 1 of my clients crash the rest continue to work.

It seems I am not along with this issue.
I have an MSI GS60 Ghost Pro running windows 8.1 and when I run eve in windowed mode the client flickers constantly.
Pretty much forces the game to be played in full screen mode which I'd rather not do.

CPU : Intel I7 4710HQ @ 2.5 Ghz
RAM : 16GB
GPU : Nvidia GTX 870M w/ 3GB GDDR5
Driver : 337.88

It is a bit ugly but I did figure out that if you are in full screen mode when you open the game, the game will function normally after switching to windowed mode if you switch to windowed while docked (didn't try with WiS enabled). The downside is you need to remember to go back to full screen mode before logging so when you log in next you'll be in full screen mode.

What do you guys mean by flickering? is the image intensity going down and up? with what frequency?

I have a problem but I am not sure it is the same. When my EVE window flickers, it shows my desktop image for like a split second. Is it same? Sometimes it also randomly switches to one of the other windows I have open, like Firefox or something.

I mostly play in windowed mode and I have a dual monitor setup with my notebook.

I have the same problem with an Nvidia 880m.

I have found if I switch it to full screen and apply and then back to windowed mode and apply it clears up. If you just go into Eve without doing that though the flicker continues into the game and the client will eventually crash.

No idea why but it works.

My solution was to use the NVidia control panel utility to set eve to always use the integrated video. In other words, don't use the NVida GPU for Eve. Not an ideal solution, but when playing with multiple clients, high resolution isn't really the focus for me.

Hope this helps.

Same results, Integrated Graphics works perfect, but I run 3 clients and I get random lag on max graphics. I only get the flickering in station environment so Its more of an annoyance. I will keep trying things and see if I can find a solution.

Made a gif of the screen flicker issue I'm having on my new (as in less than a week old) MSI GE70 Apache Pro-012 that comes with a NVIDIA Geforce GTX860M w/ 2GB GDDR5 VRAM. EVE was working fine on both full screen and windowed mode for about 3 days then suddenly started doing this crap everywhere.

Update: Switching from windowed to fixed windowed mode worked, then again to full screen. I guess just switching modes does the trick... Figured I'd share the gif for a visual explanation.
