automatic renewal, automatic payment???

hey everyone,
I have 3 accounts, 2 use them and one died and expired yesterday and today I received the confirmation of renewal of 6 months (being a power of 2) and I have been deducted money from an account that does not use it for 6 months? I hope it is not normal that the accounts are renewed automatically if not it's a steal!

Yes, it's normal for automatic renewal as you agreed when you checked the check box that says by paying you are signing up for automatic renewal. You gave explicit permission to do it and acknowledged that you knew this.

If you don't want it, go into account management and cancel the subscription. That turns it off.

If it is "a steal" then what are you complaining about?

"a steal" means it is equal to free or very cheap and worth it for that price; just in case your native language is not english...

A steal is not a theft; and this is neither, as you agreed to the conditions when you clicked "take my money"...it is your fault that you didn't cancel the automatic renewing after this in account management.

When you signed up with the power of 2, you automatically signed up and agreed with a recurring subscription.

So, yes, it is normal and NO it is not stealing as you agreed with the terms of usage and you had 6 months to stop the recurring sub before it automatically renewed.

Maybe next time don't just accept anything without reading through what you are accepting.

I'll try to make a ticket to see if there is a chance to remedy otherwise, the next time I know ...

In the mean time, make sure you have a skill training in case it can't be reversed. Why waste six months
