I use it because I like to carry exact ammo amounts in my cargo for x number of reloads. Sometimes it's easy but some weapons systems have strange clips.

That's really the only time I use it.

I've used it on occasion but I prefer to just use Windows calculator because I can put it off on my second monitor. EVE already has too many windows and widgets and crap cluttering the screen. And the big readout of the Windows calculator is easier on the eyes.

I used to use it for years hoping that digit grouping would be implemented, but since it's not, I just use windows calc through keyboard shortcut. EVE is a game that deals mostly with millions and billions, so not having digit grouping in the calculator makes it pretty much useless.Cry

I'd use it again actively if digit grouping gets implemented.Smile

I think we all use it. Some of us use it a lot. I know I do.
It is kind of clunky. It's also rather small. I don't need no
scientific/calculus/string theory update though.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Yes. I use it a lot actually. The OS calculator steals focus from EvE when used, so it's not a convenient alternative.

Edit: I have to admit, Antihrist Pripravnik posted a good reason for updating the in-game calculator. Adding digit grouping would be a good thing.

I use it and would love to see it's size made larger or be scalable. My mouse sensitivity and pointer acceleration are set high so it can be difficult to use.

The real question, how many people use the in game notepad?

SHHHHH don't let them hear you use a "feature app" in the game, they will remove it like they did the jukebox by claiming from their statistics that "no one uses it."

But naa, the only real improvements it needs is the ability to have multiple tabs maybe, or something REALLY nice would be adding calculator functionality to the notepad. Being able to type (100*107)= would be great if it would do the calculation in parentheses since it saw the = sign after, and them dump the calculated value in a new set of parentheses to the right.
