As someone who would generally need one, and in fact hates the process of mathematics due to trouble retaining numerical sequences, I would rather do it in my head than use the in game calculator.

Yeah, my industrial alt uses it every now and then.

No, it doesn't need updating for what that character does. Simple, but enough functionality to allow my brain to do the heavy lifting.

I use it a lot, yeah.
Usually I find a generic pocket calculator more comfortable to work with, but I always keep losing them, so the in-game calculator is the next best thing.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

no, it's quicker to hit the windows key and open that calculator.

Haven't used that in years, alttabbing to calc.exe is faster.

I've used it but I don't like it. Spoiled by a TI-89 within easy reach... even Windows built in calculater is easier to deal with.

I use it all the time to calculate my shopping lists and volume needs for hauling. Even moved it out of that sub-menu into the sidebar for quicker access. Though for larger production calculations I use Open Office.

I've found myself using the ingame calculator from time to time (when trying to work out the .35 isk difference etc). If anything, it saves me minimizing Eve in favour of the Windows tools calculator.

Does it need updating? No, not really. Maybe if we're going for broke, an option to toggle scientific calculator on and off would be nice. However, I wouldn't say that would be a "need"
