I took a look on most of the things I often buy, ships, equipment and such, and their prices were stable. At the mean while PLEX has been hitting higher. There did the extra ISK go if not into the market? I guess eventually PLEX price will affect other prices?

EDIT: I meant “Prices”

At this moment I regret that I took so little ECON in college. It such an interesting phenomenon, yet I cannot explain it with my very limited ECON knowledge.OopsOops

When I started playing EVE I was told there'd be no math. Someone lied, and my wallet died.

Yes, I am stable. Except when I drink, then I blow things up.

Everytime you read this you are required to send 100 million isk directly to me.

That depends on the prince. I recall joffrey not being exactly "stable" before he took over.

Oh you meant prices? of PLEX?

Yep. Stable. Increasing, but stable.

I pay my electric bill with PLEX, although the price of carrots has gone up. Go figure.

I am seriously starting to think everyone who post topics on plex are all the alt of one person. Honestly, use the damn search feature and see that all the other threads are locked and directing you to here:

Plex Thread

For the 10000000000000000000000000000000000th time. Plex is set by players, per the law of supply and demand. Don;t like the prices? then go buy a butt load and sell them for lower to drive the price down.

PLEX is market driven.

PLEX dropped about 50 mill earlier today. There were reasonable quantities for sale below 800 mill.

At the time of posting the price has recovered slightly but there are still a few PLEX around for less than 800 mill and the Jita sell has stabilised temporarily at 805 mill. Market buys are more like 760-780 mill.

HOWEVER tomorrow is the weekend and the price will rise again over the weekend and drop during the week again next week.

Not all EVE prices are rising. The price of PI is consistently dropping. The most popular P4 (because its the easiest to make) Sterile Conduits dropped form 1.2 mill late last year to 600-700k at present. Its currently selling below the cost to make it.

Probably an alt of a PLEX trader :D These threads basically all result in PLEX going even higher.

Common features are the threads invariably inflate the current price quoting the highest it has got to in recent days and implying that is the new "norm" and the way they often hint that PLEX will hit 3 bill or some other highish figure by the end of the year.

Redundant thread is redundant.

.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

Plex prices are just like the price of houses in 2007. Just wait. At some point the traders wuss out and at that point it will be all about not being the last person who is left with all the now worthless plexes. 2008 is coming to EVE soon! amazing how the EVE economy can be so close to realBig smile
