Npc not giving cap when activating NOSes on them?

Do you also have the problem, that rats dont give any cap, when you activate a nos on them? They used to give cap sometimes, but since march or april, i dont get any cap from then, regardless if i use a medium or large Nos.

i'm REALY miss the old stuff.

I have send a bugreport.

Clearing the cache doesnt seem to fix this issue, I also tried a smaller nos, but i still get nothing from rats.

i'm REALY miss the old stuff.

I tried to use a nosferatu on a gist serpathin and i got cap from that rat. (2x Imperial heavy nosferatus on a kronos)

It seems, that noses are working correct, when my own cap is almost empty, however, when my cap is more than 40-50% full, i still get nothing.

What isn't said, is that rats have a small capacitor amount, a battleship has like 1000 units, and so your own battleship will not drain cap with the nos, before you yourself has 999 cap.

I would like to jump in here, that when odyssey 1.1 came out, I too recall being told that NOS against an NPC was meant to work the same as pre-odyssey, and the change was only to affect PVP, not PvE.

Something along the lines of "The NPCs cap value is (effectively) infinite"

I can confirm that pre-Odyssey, rats had a small amount of capacitor that could be drained at 100% efficiency with a NOS until they went dry. I cannot confirm that I am able to get capacitor from them post-Odyssey, however I am fairly convinced it's not working anymore. It is difficult to tell for sure if I'm getting no capacitor at all or just a lot less, but I'm certainly not getting 1-2 full cycles worth from level 4 mission battleship rats like I used to.

On my nightmare, it seems, that I get cap, as ong as my own cap is beow 3000 units from 8800 units.

Most NPC ships have alot smaller caps than player ships. F.ex. our nightmares have 8000+ while a random Deltole has max of 3800. Meaning you will only get cap back after you've dropped below 50% of your own. And that's on the most ideal situations.

And draining a rat to zero does not affect their capabilties, IIRC, right?
