Is it possible to run multiple points on a single ship to counter effects of 2 or more warp stabs?

I can't seem to find any subject matter related to this topic and im sure there are others that are curious.

Isn't there a faction scram that delivers 3 points instead of the normal 2?

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Yes. There is also an officer disruptor with 2 points.

Saw this guy trolling the undock in NPC null in an imicus, warping off after lingering enough to attract trouble, then docking.
Over and over. Started getting cocky he did.
Locked him up, he stil zipped to his insta.
Quickly docked and fitted another scram to the fast lock rifter.
Next time he undocked, locked him up and asploded him. Pod too.
250m+ pod.

So yeah, he found out the hard way, you sure can fit enough points to counter stabs.

hehe, ya and a whole ship class to go with it...

OP check out the advanced cruisers and know that the AOE scramble that says empire only can be used in low with a script, it is immune to warp strength

Was it too complicated to just buy a few and find out yourself? :/

And why wasn't it obvious that it's possible in the first place? :\

wow, had a bad day? :)

assume single account and no friends online. tell me how you would test that? fitting 2 scrams and waiting at a small gate at like 5km distance and wait for a venture to casualy jump through while you are lucky enough to be in range to scram? and even then the venture could have just ****** up and didn't even try to warp.

well i would post in the forums too mate ^^

Be advised:

The locking can be instant.
The activation on the warp scrambler/disrupter can take a few seconds longer.

If you can be in warp in less than 5 seconds you might make it but remember there is no floating number here and if your one second is longer then their one second you're going to have a bad day.

Fit some stabs and go to low sec

That would not let the OP know how many points were used nor how many modules that were used to hold them down.

Yeah, it would.

If you have 2 points of stab, and you are jammed by one ship, then his question is answered as to whether more than one scram/disruptor can be fitted and used.

I didnt say it was easier than asking, I just said it was possible to answer.

It's pretty common to fit multiple scrams when hunting people doing relics/datas. I had to refit a second scram once when I had failed to catch a scan frigate three times jumping between data sites in the same system. He was nice enough to stay around waiting for me. Not sure which one of us was more bad there.

officer scram/disruptors.

scrams tend to have 3 points, while disruptors tend to have twice the range.scratch that, all of them have up to twice the range and +1 point on top of their stats.

think they only work on battleships tho, cuz they eat up 3k grid or smth, so they are only useful when used in tandem with officer webs and a bhaalgorn.
