5B loan request @ 8% short term (full!)

Hello again!

I am looking for a new loan to help with my latest speculation.

I want to borrow 5B for 2-3 months and I am willing to offer 8% per month for that

I think it will only be 2 months but just in case I need longer I want to have the option for 3 months.

I will be using the isk to buy speculation stock for the kronos expansion. I will keep the stuff I buy in highsec stations and I may have to move some with courier contracts but no stupid risks will be taken

I have no collateral I can offer right now. So I dont mind having more than one investor but please at least 1B each or it will be a pain. I like Grendles idea of giving priority to large investors and past investors so I will do that to.

Here are the links to my old loans which have all been paid:-

2B loan request @ 10% for 2 weeks (No collateral)
20B loan request @ 2% long term (Battlecruisers as collateral and was 2.5% really)
30B loan request @ 6% medium term (No collateral)
10B loan @ 4% for 3 weeks (Battlecruisers as collateral)
60B loan refinance @ 2% long term (Battlecruisers and Battleships as collateral)
30B loan request @ 6% short term (No collateral)
30B loan request @ 6% short term (No collateral)

What I find strange is that a 4 days old toon, who has only been trying to sell 2 moons and never been on the MD forum comes here and post, that smells rather fishy - I suppose its just an alt of the OP.

But atleast we now all know that the OP can never be trusted again

Looking at some of those numbers 5b ISK seems a little low for him to aim for if he planned to cash out I would have thought?

5B is better than nothing. Given that RAW23 had already called out Speculation Dave as my alt in the previous loan thread.

Sure, I could have put up another loan request in the 20-30B range and hoped to get away with the isk before the MD police arrived on the scene.

However, larger uncollateralised loans tend to take longer to fill and so the risk would have been greater. There were also other time constraints due to the fact that the account only had something like 2 days left on it's sub.

I wasn't interested in getting in to a situation where I was having to defend another blatantly obvious alt from RAW23's advanced eyebrow analysis techniques just so I could liberate an extra 25B.

I think it's important to know when to walk away from a failed scam, because time spent trying to salvage this would have been better spent on something else.

As you know, RAW23 was not the only one getting suspicious with "eyebrows analysis", in fact if I recall correctly I mentioned there's also (at least) another alt of yours "brewing up" on MD.

However I was a bit disappointed at getting out with just 5B, seeing the past bonds I'd have imagined a run off with say 20B or more, the rep grinding done would have allowed for that.

The "sub about to expire" thing does not convince me really much. Knowing you could at a minimum gather 10B and walk off, those additional 5B would have afforded the alt way more than a 1 month PLEX sub renewal. Basically you'd have put 700M or so on the platter to get off with 10B (if not 20, 1 month could afford you to accept a slow ISK trickle).

Sorry, I don't mean to give RAW23 all the glory. I'm sure you and the other people who posted wise statements in these threads can figure out how to share the scalp. But I do feel that RAW23's clinical assassination of Blueprint Seller was pretty telling. With the underlying shill character totally discredited, he then had total traction on any accusations he cared to make about Speculation Dave.

You and me both... and certainly I had my eyes on 50B+ for this particular sequence. But it wasn't to be.

It wasn't really a factor in the decision to exit at 5B, it was a factor in the timing of that exit.

Yeah, I had 25B of public isk in my hands on that one. Big smile

But I wouldn't have been able to live with scamming you or VV. So I had to roll the dice some more.
