After hunting down several of ISD Ezwal's posts just to like them, I had to admit to myself that there are a great number of times I wanted to like one of his posts but could not do so, due to the post being in a locked thread.

So this thread is made in an attempt to balance the karma. ISD Ezwal and all you other amazing members of the "Official Thread-locking Department" feel free to show up in here and receive some much-deserved likes! (in-between duties of course)

In the mean time, why don't we exchange stories of times when the ISD have helped or bothered us? This doesn't have to stay confined to CCL, any ISD is fair game as they are all amazing heroes!

I'll start with not so much a tale of experience as with something that I've had on my mind for a while. I have seen several posters making "IBTL" (In Before The Lock) posts on a thread they anticipated was going to be locked. I wanted to make a "IATL" post immediately after an ISD's thread locked post but before the thread is actually locked. I've never managed to get one in at the right time yet, however.

ISD should be able to collect 2 likes per post. One for when the thread is in an unlocked state, and one for when the thread is in a locked state.

This would encourage mid-thread moderations as well as eventual thread locks (like they reward Judges for swiftly enforcing against criminal acts).

Im also going to need a volunteer from the list to play the part of the hero in my supervillain throwbacks.. so, if any of you have experience with escaping from slow moving laser beams, pits of ill tempered seabass, able to maintain composure after being hung upside down for extended periods or have ever romanced a minion in order to secure your own escape.. those would be good things for your resume.

Just like irl you have fantastic people and....well...lets not get rude...'less likeable' people in the EvE community participating on this forum. And everything in between.
If anything, my faith might even have risen, considering the heart-warming fact that on this forum people from all over the world, from all walks of life and with very different cultural and social backgrounds engage in discussions, share views, organise things together, making plans to meet irl, etcetera. Always peaceful? No of course not, but still.
We may be wildly different, but we have at least one thing in common: We play EvE. Most really get that. And that is good to see.
