Sleeper Sites

I recently move into a wormhole for the experience, and the profit. My hope is to be able to PLEX two accounts, pay for the POS fuel, and have extra for buying ships ect. I've tried a bunch of things, and so far the best option is sleeper sites. i'm running in a C2 magnetar WH. I'm completing sleeper sites in around 20-30 minutes each, and getting a profit of about 4-5 mil each, making around 10 mil an hour. Ive heard I could be making 40-70 mil from tons of different places, and i thought my issue was salvaging the wrecks. Im at salvaging lvl3, and I completed a site salvaging everything, and the salvage value was a mere 60,000 extra ISK, practically nothing. Im just wondering, what am i doing wrong? ISK is a big issue for me and i'm struggling to pay for the fuel costs with so little income. Currently I have like 2 mil ISK, I can barely afford anything.

If someone wouldn't mind also, my WH usually has 20-35 sites, around 15 sleeper sites, 10-15 ore sites, 2-3 gas sites, but as of yesterday ( my 3rd day in my wormhole) all of a sudden i only have around 8 sites in my WH, none or 1 gas sites, and 2-3 sleeper sites at most, with around 2-3 ore sites, any idea what this is or what caused it? Will it go back to having a bunch of sites?

if you leave them un-harvested for a while, yes

when I lived in a C4:Pulsar we spent most of our time in neighbouring wormholes

ok, so point by point:
- 20 minutes for a c2 site is quite a long time. having a better ship and better skills will push this down a lot, so your isk/hour will grow.
- the main income source in salvaging is melted nanoribbons. you will pull about 3-4 per site on average, but you may get unlucky and get none. i remember spending an entire day clearing 20+ sites and only getting out with 11 ribbons. other times i would get 50+ ribbons from ~10-12 sites.
- another major income source in wormholes is planetary interaction. you can easily pull over a billion a month if you train all three chars on your account to be able to do it.
- whenever you clear a sleeper site, it will respawn in a random system in your constellation (region?). this means that systems that are not inhabited tend do collect sleeper sites while systems that are regularly cleaned out tend to run dry.
- nothing stops you from trying to farm the systems next door. each day, you will get a new neighbor system that can contain new riches (or new enemies).

I should buy an Ishtar.

As said befor the do despawn but do not rely on your own hole for the sites rely on your statics. Also income is based on your completion speed the faster you clear the faster you make Isk. And as for how much you make the blue loot is the only consistent Isk the nano ribbons are iceing.

Always willing to help all you have to do is ask, though if you're in the other fleet I may not help the way you want. Just a heads up. Pub Channel: Lost Souls Trading Post

Initiating warp to a site also starts a despawn timer (a few days I believe). When I lived in a C5-C5 wormhole, we would initiate warp to each of the sites in our static to despawn them, hopefully increasing the number that spawned in our home system. It may be that someone came in and initiated warp to each of your sites a few days before for this reason.

What class static do you have? I'm guessing a C4 or C1 along with a high sec. C1 sites can be soloed easily. C4 sites would require a few people to run, but generally have better payout than C2s. A few remote rep domis or tengus are a common choice for running C4s.

3 domis can clear some low end C5's netting 200-350mils each and same for capital fleets in C6 (since you need like a fleet of 20 (8 dreads, 2 carriers, web/painter loki's, slavagers and what else) to clear the site in less then 5 minutes or in one siege cycle.
There are plenty of videos in youtube.

i was away for a day but i ran a second site after all the disappointment and got 22 mil worth of nano ribbons in it. Good thing you got me to give it another go! Thanks everyone.
