Keeping Flight Settings (orbit/keep at range/etc)

I recently had a drive failure and had to reinstall everything, for whatever reason my neocom, overview, etc settings didn't stick from my backup and I've just had to manually change everything, whatever, that's not the issue here.

My biggest concern after this reinstall is flight settings no longer stick to ships (maybe they never did and my old installation was "broken"). What I mean is say I have my Skiff set to orbit for 10km, my Punisher orbit for 5km with keep at range of 50km, etc etc. Before when I'd come back to whatever ship I've set these values on they'd still be there the next time I flew them. Now my problem is the ship I make my current active will have the orbit/keep at range settings of whatever the last thing I flew was, it's pretty annoying.

Is there a setting I'm missing in the client to get that functionality back?
