Getting Level 3 Security Missions

I'm already getting Level 3 mining missions with a corp that I have 7.71 standings with. I've been doing level 2 security missions trying to get level 3 security missions but so far no luck. Any advice?

Use the agent finder, there are advanced filters to select corp, faction, and mission type. From there you can set it up to display only security missions.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Thank you, I never noticed the Agent Finder button before. I was expecting an email or notification that a level 3 agent had become available. Much appreciated.

Yeah, you have to keep watch on your standings and visually check to see if you can access higher level agents, then travel and speak to those Agents when they become available.

As long as the Faction stays above -2.00 standing you can access high level agents easily with the Corporation standing. Course that's limited only to Agents within that specific Corp. For access to all Agents of all Corporations within a specific Faction, then high Faction standings is what you want to get.

erm, 7.71 standing gives you access to level 5 mission.
1.0 = level 2
3.0 = level 3
5.0 = level 4
7.0 - level 5.
there are no level 6.

Standing Transactions
Date: 2014.07.18 04:00 - Value: 1.875% - Mission Completed - Gas Site Scanning (5 of 5)

Factions Standing :
Gallente Federation :
3.14 (as easy as Pi)
Connection 4 raises your effective standing from 1.83) (Good) (not as easy as pie.)
(Still the easiest though.!.)

For mission access the game checks your modified/derived standings in the following order
Agent -> Corporation -> Faction

If you do L4 Federation Navy missions with someone else (they accept the missions & share the rewards with you), the following changes will occur over time with regards to your own standings.
1st change - Specific L4 Agent Access granted
2nd change - Corporate L4 Agent Access granted

Because Faction Standings have the highest priority, once you have standings of 5.0+ with a Faction ALL L4 agents for that faction become available to you.

This is an important mission, which will have significant impact on
your faction standings.


Edit:
I just managed to transfer the Proof of Discovery : Gas Passkey from pilot to pilots
but I really don't think it matters since you have to come across it to reach the mission.
Except that, when you try to enter the pocket with a pilot doing the tutorial, you can't if you don't also have it.
