I've been playing this game for awhile now and, besides flying in a few fleets from the UHURT guys, I have practically zero PvP experience. I've mostly been doing exploration in hi and low sec in between mission runs. While that has kept me safe and allowed me to avoid losing ships, I'm starting grow bored of it. So I decided to come to the forums to see if I can find some people or a corp to fly regulary with. Frankly, I'm terrified of trying to PvP solo because of how easy it would be for someone's friends to just pop up in the system and gang up on my ship.

As to your question look around recruitment forum as suggested. And no, there is no way to be safe from getting tricked and ganked, that is basically main reason we play this horrible game. So be a newbie but don't be clueless and gullible moron. And that is honest advice not meant to be offensive in any way.

Flying Dangerous (FIGL) is a null security PvP Alliance currently based in the Syndicate region. Our singular focus in Eve is PvP, pure and simple.
