Hello there!

I've been getting a bit tired of the same old soundtrack for EVE and have been experimenting with a number of different playlists, using everything from ambient electronica to sci-fi movie soundtracks.

This is the list so far:

Arrow Alien Resurrection Original Soundtrack: Youtube
Arrow Atrium Carceri: Youtube
Arrow Solaris Original Soundtrack: Youtube
Arrow Sunshine Original Soundtrack: Youtube
Arrow Equilibrium Original Soundtrack: Youtube

What is your idea of a good playlist to run as background music for EVE?

And if you don't have music or sound on (because you are epic PVP guru who always is on voice comms) then congrats and we don't need to hear about it Twisted

The Sword, 'Warp Riders'. It's a whole heavy metal concept album based in sci-fi. Space metal. It's perfect.

Yes! This album is epic in the true sense of the word.

Sacrifice of the sisterhood to do for those they serve
To cross a universe in hyper-spatial flight
We ride the warp of space into the womb of night"

this ^^

the sword is some of the best metal i've heard in ages. their first album Age of Winters is epic. if you ever get a chance, you should see them live, they are consummate performers and execute their songs with grace and precision that rarely comes from this genre of music.

when i'm in the mood for electro-space music i like the Trentemoller station on Pandora.

also Murcof is quite eerie and fits the black depths of space really well.

Welcome to Chaos, Son of Rust - my theme song for Hulkageddon Pirate

Actually, thematically speaking, a lot of SoR stuff is good for EVE.

What else? Hmm. I like this if I'm missioning, but usually just whatever I'm listening to at the moment. Including but not limited to Iron Maiden, Dub Side of the Moon, Blue Oyster Cult, James, Juno Reactor, Pendulum, The Protomen, Yoko Kanno, REM, The Raconteurs, The Sisters of Mercy, Talking Heads and OCRemix.

I believe that's my first Dev reply. Awesome.

My favorite passage comes from the last track. It always reminds me of my hair-raising jumps through low-sec.

Racing through the netherworld
Outside of time and space.
He has found a hidden path
To pass forbidden gates.
Body left to rot as the
Great tidal lock sets in.
The cord is cut, the way is shut,
The orb goes dim.
