Oh, Maker!
It looks like you have beaten my dressing efficiency, at the moment my equipment set has two more pieces: Jumpsuit, panties, trousers, blouse and boots.

Now I feel like I need to optimize it further!

Wow, you don't wear socks?

Or ... underwear??

Well I gotta agree with my boss's opinion. Not only cause she's my boss but because I actually agree with it. I remember when we went to Amarr together just recently, she was modelling one of the new dresses to the local populace n' talking up her campaign to change CONCORD's public dress standards which forbid capsuleers from exposing their legs in public.

All the locals thought she looked amazin' in her dress, pretty much proving that refined fashion taste is alive and well in Amarr.

I dunno about "ethnic" Amarrian stuffs. But I don't think it's good to say that Amarrians have bad fashion sense because their traditionalists still wearing that funny stuff. I'm not a big fan of covering myself up too much unless I'm really cold. But unlike my boss I'm not into dresses though, she says I'm a "tomboy" cause I prefer a good sturdy pair of pants and a top that allows me lots of movement cause I'm always workin'.

Last we spoke you had agreed to never say my name until you met me in Innia in a frigate.

I am still in waiting and you are still talking.

Innia is not far from where you are like when you made the promise. I imagine your falcon pilot can chart an autopilot course for you. I imagine you already have a fitted Hookbill.

To clarify, I am not objecting to my inclusion on the list. I am in good company.

IS this the part where the thread goes **** up into a grr [insert name] competition, like every other thread on IGS?

If so, can we like...not?

Thank you for your concern but no. I do not intend to reply to anything Diana kim says; I have found that the best way to deal with her and those like her.

I am merely reminding her on the only common communication channel we share of her agreement now that she has broken it. She will either fulfill it or I will go hunting for her.

And do not worry, you will not see the killmail or hear the story.

So, a question for those who wear skin-tights.

Where do you keep your blowtorches, spanners, wire-cutters, plastic explosives, screwdrivers, welders, wiring, duct tape and measuring equipment?

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

In our corporate hanger array of course. Along with all our engineering equipment and our spare parts.

Is that surprising?

Belts are a thing, my friend.

Tradition defines and shapes a person, but should be evaluated frequently; far too often does Tradition no longer help, but hobble a person and stunt their growth. Especially a Capsuleer.

There's no reason to carry any of these with you on a daily basis.

Though in regards to the point you were trying to make of where do you keep things you are bringing with you when wearing clothing without pockets (or with only small pockets), you use a purse.

Having been born a Deteis man myself, I am willing to confirm that it is traditional among my people that when born the first cloth we should feel as swaddling is that of a finely tailored suit. This only so that when we become older we never forget the necessity of always being well dressed with class, style, and distinction.

I am a Caravan Master - I have guards and thralls to carry them for me.

I actually carry all those on a daily basis. There's no telling when I might run into a broken machine during my daily walks or when I need to demolish the door into my quarters, assuming that the vents are inaccessible.

But yes. You carry a purse. Won't that either burden or make unusable one of your hands? Isn't it better to have both hands free?

Belts are a thing, my friend.

And belts, yes. Inefficient use of body space right there. Distribute the weight evenly, why don't you? You are bound to run out of space for rivet magazines if you cram everything onto your belt.

Me, for one. My sister for another. Yet I don't believe we fit into the category you describe.

Perhaps I was too harsh in my reasoning then.

I had a fairly conservative upbringing, and where I'm from, if you went around wearing clothes that highlighted your assets (and this goes for men and their packages too) it implied that you were too easy of a catch and not worth the time. Obviously, that doesn't apply to the rest of New Eden, and clothing alone doesn't define a person, so I'll respect your thoughts and views on the matter.

Erica Dusette wrote:
You've obviously never tried removing leather pants three sizes too small from either yourself or another, have you sir?

Give it a try. Pretty sure you'll be left with quite the opposite conclusion as to what you have now.

I have. Not leather of course, but they were still fairly uncomfortable to walk around in, so I'll agree that removing them was enjoyable enough. As my past romantic interests never wore such clothing, I'll have to take your word on it for that.

You can put a purse down if you need to use both hands. Purses are also a fashion accessory themselves. And you can usually carry more in a purse than you could even in cargo pants. The only better thing would be a backpack, but those are not as broadly usable as a fashion accessory as purses are (purses can work for formal meetings, backpacks can't).

Backpack is great idea. Especially when mixed with a jumpsuit or a jacket and cargo pants with deep pockets. Very utilitarian.

No need for either a purse or backpack when you have a personal utility drone slaved directly to your neural interface to help you carry your things.

It's actually easier with leather pants intended for cold climates, as you can simply have the damn things fur-lined or lined with some other material. The trick then is getting them off inside a sleeping bag or other such device without overheating yourself due to the exertion!
