Hello,

I was looking for an alternativ to the Ts3 basic overlay plugin.
I tried TNS which had the best review but It did not work, because of Steam I think.

If someone knows a good one under these conditions can you please post it here.

* Win7 (64) and Ts3 (3.0.2)
* Steam launcher
* EvE

Thanks, good pew pew o/

It is TS3 overlay.
What's the problem with it?

Hello,

Well, the basic overlay included in Ts3 is quite buggy, and only recognize A to Z letters to activate the window drag function, which takes off one letter of the keyboard. Really annoying for typing.

So I went for TNS, did what they were asking to, but no window appears ingame. Since it has some good critics, I think the troublemaker is the Steam launcher (I have EvE on Steam).

Thanks for your help, Nowtony o/

What you mean by "window drag"? I'm using TS3 overlay and have no issues with it. It stay where I want it, and since I've tuned it's appearance a bit for my preferences, it giving me no headache whatsoever.

Well, each time I start EvE, the People list just reset its position in the top left corner. So I need to "drag" it back where I like it to be. To do so, I need to use a key, from A - Z to activate the "drag". It's very annoying because I'll not be able to use that letter for typing anymore.

Then fix it's position in overlay settings file for "exefile.exe" application.

I've done these things already, but it doesn't work, and anyhow you set it, it will randomly reset all its setting at starting when it feels for it.
I'm asking for an alternativ, or a testimony from a guy who uses TSNotifier.

Thanks for your help anyway, Nowtony o/

Edit :

Okay ... been on forums a bit. So, to enable any key aside from A-Z and 0, you'll have to use the VK_xxx codes, at least it worked for me.

if you mean the directx overlay plugin

you move it easy by using the scroll lock(it will activate move mode)

but its idd very buggy half the stuff dont work as well like changing the colors and stuff.

Let me guess. Are you using TS client UI to configure plugin at any point? DONT!
Do all settings in ini file.
