Need help with an error I have never seen

I have never seen this error before and it is keeping me from logging on to both of my accounts:

"The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support."

If there is anyone that knows what this is about I would be very greatful

Tried Customer Support and they haven't done much but verify I was signing in with my account. I also re-installed the game all new and am still getting this error

Did you try launching it directly from the .exe?

I've gotten that error when I've had the launcher up a long time and slept the computer a couple of days. Then it normally just requires me to sign in again and it works. I'd suggest there are some cache files somewhere that you didn't clear when you reinstalled that are the token files. Try clearing all your temp files?

Didn't think about the Temp files, good point going to try that now...

as you said you reinstalled, so I will assume you removed old traces, are you doing any time traveling? (animal crossing term, sorry) i.e. have you adjusted your pc's clock so it thinks the token is expired and a new once won't be generated due to time being out of sync?

You usually get that if you left the launcher up over a reset and its the wrong launcher.

You also get that error if your account is disabled (due to your time running out) and you launch directly from the EXE. Check account management and make sure the account in question isn't out of game time.
